- Learn the movement controls practice steering until turning feels automatic.
- Adjust your camera swing your view around regularly so nothing sneaks up on you.
- Practice changing depth run through ascending and descending several times while it is still safe.

Upgrade priorities for early survival
TableThe upgrades you choose first shape how safely you can expand into deeper areas.
| Durability | makes the submarine harder to destroy, so a hit from a leviathan does not end your run immediately. |
| Oxygen supply | extends how long you can stay underwater before you are forced to retreat. |
| Movement speed | lets you flee threats faster and cover more ground during an exploration run. |
| Visibility | widens what you can see in dark deep-water areas, giving you more warning before trouble arrives. |

Gathering resources across depths
TipsResources are scattered throughout the ocean and are the only way to fund upgrades. Deeper zones offer more of them, but only a sturdier submarine can reach those zones safely.
- Start every session in shallow water to collect easy resources before heading down.
- Only push into deeper zones once your durability and oxygen upgrades can support the trip.
- Return to base regularly to spend resources on upgrades.
Surviving leviathan encounters
WarnLeviathans are large, dangerous creatures that appear in deeper parts of the ocean and will attack your submarine when you get close. Because the game is designed around evasion rather than combat, every second you spend near one is a second closer to losing your sub.
