About

Overview

Military Facility Tycoon 2 puts you in charge of one of six military facilities, where you upgrade your base, raid other players, launch nukes, and rob the oil rig. Getting started as a facility director

Step
In short Claim a facility, start earning money from droppers, and spend it on base upgrades as fast as you can.

When you join, pick one of the six available facilities and become its director. Money comes from droppers around your base and is the main currency for buying upgrades. Intels are a second, harder-to-earn currency used for a smaller set of purchases. Joining the game's Roblox group gives you a free 15,000 cash head-start, so do that before you spend anything.

  1. Claim a facility pick one of the six bases at the start of the session.
  2. Join the group collect the free 15,000 cash bonus before buying upgrades.
  3. Save intels separately the 5% rebirth cash bonus does not apply to intels.
  4. Check the Beach Shop weapons are sold there, though most guns available at the beach shop can also be bought more cheaply from the base bunker.

The two currencies

Table
In short Money is your everyday currency for base upgrades; intels are rarer and used for a specific set of purchases.

Every upgrade button around your base costs money. Intels come from only a handful of sources and unlock a separate set of items.

Moneyearned from all non-intel droppers; used to buy most base buttons and upgrades.
Intelsearned from four bunker droppers, the oil rig heist, and launching a nuke at the N.R.F.; used for select weapons and Beach Shop items.
Rebirth cash bonusthe 5% per rebirth boost applies to money only, not intels.
Beach Shop vs. bunkeralmost every gun at the Beach Shop is cheaper when bought from the base bunker.

Rebirth milestones and what they unlock

Table
In short Each rebirth resets your base and cash but adds a permanent 5% cash boost and unlocks new defenses and weapons.

Rebirths reset your base and money, but intels carry over. The cash boost stacks with every rebirth, so the gains grow significantly over time. Below are the most important unlock milestones.

Rebirths requiredWhat you unlock
1Laser barb wire fence, RPG weapon, rooftop laser cannon, landmines, facility whitelist
2Large nuke bunker, Nuke Early Warning System, Bunker Pistol (Reckoner)
3Spike traps, upgraded Bunker AR, vehicle bollards, bunker secret owner shelter
4Extra rooftop laser cannon, extra landmines, extra bunker laser gate
5Watchtower in front yard, Gold rebirth plaque
6Tower laser cannon, extra barriers, extra bunker laser gate
8Enemy Sweep, two automatic enemy-seeking laser turrets
9Third automatic laser turret, bunker railgun, rocket gun
10Red ELITE rebirth plaque, neon color band across the front of your base, front fence hole repaired
12Missile Launch System (Sparrow Project)
20White ELITE rebirth plaque, elite neon white color band
04

Rebirth plaques and the group requirement

Check
In short Plaques are cosmetic rewards for rebirths, but you must be in the game's Roblox group to receive them.

After each major rebirth milestone you earn a rebirth plaque displayed in your base. Every plaque is group-only, meaning you only receive it if you have already joined the game's Roblox group. The plaque design upgrades at specific thresholds.

  • Reach 3 rebirths for the Bronze plaque, 4 for Silver, 5 for Gold.
  • Reach 10 rebirths for the Red ELITE plaque plus a neon color band across your base facade.
  • Reach 20 rebirths for the White ELITE plaque and an elite neon white color band.
05

Robbing the oil rig

Step
In short The oil rig opens at night and rewards intels if you retrieve the vault data and escape before the timer runs out.

The oil rig sits offshore near the Harbor, on the opposite corner of the map from the N.R.F. The entrance door is only open at night. Move quickly once you trigger the vault timer, because the song playing tells you how much time you have left.

  1. Enter at night the time-activated door on the oil rig only opens after dark.
  2. Follow the footprints head into North Hall and follow the footprints to find the Office.
  3. Read the left monitor interact with the left computer in the Office to get the vault code; this starts the escape timer.
  4. Cut the lasers backtrack to Level 2 Access, climb the truss, navigate the spike-trap corridor to the Storage room, pick the power box lock, and pull the wires to shut off the lasers.
  5. Enter the vault type the code from the monitor into the vault keypad, then interact with the laptop and stop the line on the green bar to unlock the data.
  6. Escape through the vent backtrack to the Machine Room, open the vent, and jump out to collect your intel reward.
06

Surviving a nuke

Warn
In short You have a short window to reach a shelter once a nuke is launched — know both locations before it happens.

A server nuke can be launched from the warhead control room inside the N.R.F. The person launching needs a warhead keycard, found in the secret vault in the manager's office near the visitor center. Once launched, everyone on the server is alerted and the Center Bunker opens for roughly 1.5 minutes before closing about 30 seconds before impact.

Worth watching out for
The Center Bunker and your personal bunker are the only two places that protect you from a server nuke.
The Center Bunker closes about 30 seconds before the nuke hits; if you are trapped inside, exit through the vent at the back of the bunker.
Your personal bunker unlocks at 2 rebirths.
If you launch the base missile from your own base, make sure your own force field is off first, or your base will be destroyed instead of the target.
Facility 01 has an escape tunnel.
07

Weapons and which to pick

Tips

The RPG unlocks at rebirth 1 and deals 100 damage within a 16-stud explosion radius, but it holds only one round and takes 2.5 seconds to reload. Carrying multiple RPGs lets you fire faster, though that cuts into the 10-weapon inventory limit. The grenade launcher is cheaper than the RPG, holds more rounds, and fires faster, but its rounds drop sharply over distance. The assault rifle fires quickly with a 30-round magazine. At rebirth 2 you gain the Bunker Pistol, at rebirth 3 an upgraded Bunker AR, and at rebirth 9 both a railgun and a rocket gun.

Tips worth knowing
  • The RPG is buyable at rebirth 1, deals 100 damage in its explosion radius, holds one round, and takes 2.5 seconds to reload.
  • Carrying more than one RPG increases fire rate, but is limited by the 10-weapon inventory capacity.
  • The grenade launcher is cheaper than the RPG, has more ammo, and fires faster, but its rounds have heavy drop making it ineffective at range.
  • The AR has a fast fire rate and a 30-round magazine.
  • Do not use the grenade launcher at long range — the heavy bullet drop makes it ineffective.
08

Badges as a to-do list

Check
In short Each badge points to a major game activity — working through them is a natural way to explore everything MFT2 offers.

There are five badges in the game. Treating them as a checklist walks you through the nuke sequence, the oil rig heist, the escape tunnel, and the ICBM launch.

  • Fallout Shelter enter the fallout shelter during a nuke sequence.
  • To the Tunnels find and use the escape tunnel in Facility 01.
  • That's a lot of data complete the full oil rig heist and escape with the vault data.
  • I see big missile launch the ICBM from your own base.

Common questions

FAQ

What do I lose when I rebirth?

Your base and your current money are both reset. Intels are not affected and carry over. You gain a permanent 5% cash boost and unlock new defenses or weapons depending on your rebirth count.

How do I earn intels?

Intels come from four droppers inside your base bunker, from completing the oil rig heist, and from launching a nuke at the N.R.F. Unlike regular cash, intels do not benefit from the rebirth cash boost.

Where do I survive a nuke if my personal bunker is not built yet?

Head to the Center Bunker on the side of the central hill — it opens automatically when a server nuke is launched. If you are locked inside after it closes, use the vent at the back to escape.

Is there anything hidden at the N.R.F. worth finding?

Yes. In the hallway near the server room, touch the wall with an employee keycard to open a small storage room containing two Chrono watch boxes. A second hidden room is at the end of a corridor in the Labs section, also opened with an employee keycard.
