Armor tiers and what they cost you

In short
Each armor tier requires new materials and higher levels, so plan your resource gathering around the next tier up.
Armor reduces the damage you take from other players, and upgrading it is one of the clearest ways to survive longer in fights. Every tier asks for different materials, so knowing what comes next helps you gather with a purpose. Raw food damage is not reduced by armor, so keep that in mind when you manage your health.

Long-term farming targets

Fishing, tree chopping, meteor mining, and Soul Minion hunting all have deep progression tracks.
The game tracks several activities across huge milestone totals. None of these are things you finish in one session.
- Fish caught milestones run from 50 all the way to 10,000.
- Trees chopped milestones go from 200 to 10,000.
- Meteor cores mined milestones run from 3 to 200.
- Soul Minions eliminated milestones stretch from 25 to 10,000.
- Essence collected reaching 1,000 and then 5,000 total Essence are the tracked milestones.

Spending coins and collecting cosmetics are their own long progression tracks separate from combat and crafting.
