Basic controls
CheckThe control set is small, so you can get comfortable with it quickly.
- Left-click attacks with your current weapon, whether that is a gun, blade, or anything else.
- Right-click either throws the weapon you are holding or picks up one lying on the ground.
- The left and right arrow keys cycle through the available masks on the selection screen.
- Space confirms your mask choice and starts the stage.
- You can only change your mask on the selection screen once the stage begins, you are locked into your choice.
Picking the right mask
TipsEvery mask comes with its own weapon and fighting style. Some suit long-range play with guns, others push you into close quarters with blades, and others rely on throwable weapons.
- Each mask carries a different weapon type, so your attack range and speed change depending on which you pick.
- You can pick up weapons that enemies drop regardless of which mask you chose, so your loadout is not completely fixed.
- Picking the same mask repeatedly is fine — you can replay any mask as many times as you want.
Getting through a stage
StepEach stage puts several enemies in your path across a single map. Your goal is to take them all out. Enemies drop weapons when they go down, and grabbing those keeps you from running dry mid-stage.
- Attack enemies left-click to swing or shoot at anyone in range.
- Pick up dropped weapons right-click on any weapon an enemy leaves behind to add it to your hand.
- Use throws right-click while holding a weapon to fling it at an enemy.
- Defeat every enemy clearing the whole stage ends it.
The three maps
TableShotline has three stages, each with its own layout and enemy placement.
| Metro | a narrow underground setting where enemies are packed into tight corridors. |
| House | an indoor map with limited room to maneuver, keeping combat close. |
| High | a large high-rise stage with more open space for fighting. |
Open-testing warnings
WarnThe game is in open testing and the developers have stated outright that bugs should be expected.

Common questions
FAQCan I switch masks once a stage has started?
No — mask selection only happens on the screen before the stage loads. Once fighting begins, you keep whatever mask you picked.
How do I finish a stage?
Defeat every enemy on the map. Once no enemies remain, the stage ends.
