OverviewPick a KPOP Idol is a team battle game where you choose one of 1,065 idols and fight for your pick using lightsticks from your favourite KPOP groups. You can also trade idols with other players between matches. This guide covers the core rules, the different ways a match can end, and how to build up your win count for special rewards.

How a match works
Step
In short
Every match comes down to picking an idol, joining a team, and fighting off the other side with your lightstick.
A room holds up to 16 players. When you join, you pick one idol from the roster of 1,065 and then enter team battle. Your goal is to defend your idol choice and help your team beat the opposition before time runs out.
- Pick an idol choose one of the 1,065 idols available when you enter the game.
- Join the team battle you are placed on a side and given a lightstick tied to a KPOP group.
- Fight with your lightstick use it to take on the opposing team and protect your idol choice.
- Win for your team the team that defeats the other side claims the victory.
- Watch the timer if neither team wins in time, the match ends in a tie.

Ways a match can end

The outcome badge you earn depends not just on whether you won, but on how you won.
There are five possible results, and each one unlocks a different badge.

| Ace | your team won without losing a single member. |
| Clutch | every teammate fell but you kept fighting and still won. |
| Domination | nobody chose the opposing side, so your team won automatically. |

Trading lets you swap idols directly with another player.
The trading system lets you swap idols directly with another player. If someone has the idol you are after, you can approach them and negotiate an exchange.

Glossary
Glossary- Lightstick
- The in-game weapon your character fights with, styled after the official light stick of a KPOP group.
- Ace
- The result when your team wins without any member being eliminated.
- Clutch
- The result when you win a match alone, either because all teammates were eliminated or because you started the round solo.
- Domination
- An automatic win that happens when no players chose the opposing side.
- Trade
- A feature that lets you swap an idol you own for one held by another player.

FAQHow many idols can I choose from?
There are 1,065 idols in the game right now. You pick exactly one at the start of each match.
Can I still win if all my teammates are eliminated?
Yes. If you keep fighting and beat the other team on your own, you earn the Clutch result on top of a regular win.
Is there a seasonal event worth knowing about?
A Halloween Event ran in 2025, and completing it rewarded players with an exclusive Dreamcatcher Lightstick.
