In short
A clear silhouette and a tight color palette matter more than rare or expensive items.
Voters see your outfit for only a few seconds on the runway, so the first impression has to land immediately. Free and coin-bought items work just as well as premium ones when the color, shape, and theme cue are all present.
Tips worth knowing
- Build the full silhouette first — dress or coordinated top-and-bottom — before adding anything else
- Keep your palette to two or three colors, then use white, black, or grey to balance them
- Repeat one accent color in at least two spots, such as a hair accessory and a shoe, to tie separate items together visually
- Limit bold accessories to one or two pieces so they highlight the outfit rather than cover it

Freeplay, Prism Play, and Duo mode

- Color palette
- The set of colors you choose for one outfit.
- Accent color
- A single color used in a small number of spots to draw the eye and tie the outfit together.
- Duo
- A two-player mode where both partners walk the runway together and coordinate their outfits around shared colors or accessories.
- Freeplay
- A server mode with no timer or ranking where you can explore items and practice combinations freely.
- Prism Play
- An in-game feature that lets you post completed outfits and view looks other players have shared.
- Coins

Yes. Coins collected through normal play let you steadily expand your wardrobe, and free items are part of the game from the start.
How do I play with a friend?
Join the same server as your friend and compete in the standard runway together, or use the Duo mode to build a coordinated two-person outfit. You can also post your outfits on Prism Play and check out each other's looks there.
The game shut down while I was playing — what happened?
A shutdown means an update is being applied. Wait a short while and then rejoin.
