Jobs and what they involve

Table
In short Police officer is the steadiest starting point, while criminal adds risk in exchange for a more dramatic story.

Seaside RP offers several jobs, each giving you a different experience on the same streets. Police officer and criminal sit at opposite ends of the risk scale, and teacher offers something that leans heavily on talking with other players.

Police officersteady pay and a law-keeping role.
Criminalhigher risk of being caught by other players, but opens up a more action-driven storyline.
Teacherfun comes from interacting with other players at the high school.
03

Earning money and buying a home

Tips
In short Consistently working your job is the core loop that eventually unlocks a home and vehicles.

Everything you can own in Seaside RP — a house, a car, anything — is bought with in-game money you earn through your job. You work, you get paid, and you save up. The shopping center is worth visiting to browse what homes and cars are available. Once you own a home, you have a base to invite friends to and run longer roleplay stories from.

Tips worth knowing
  • Choose a paying job right away so money starts coming in.
  • Keep turning up to work each session to build your balance.
  • Visit the real-estate office when your savings are growing to see what homes are available.
  • Once you own a home, you have a private base to invite friends to and run longer roleplay stories from.
  • Match your car choice to your character — a police officer and a criminal call for very different vehicles.
04

Playing with friends

Check
In short Agreeing on a shared theme before you start gives everyone direction.

The game is designed to be enjoyed with other people, and the chat is your main tool for building a story together. Respect goes both ways — let other players run their own stories and they will give you the same space.

  • Agree on a theme before you play deciding in advance on a scenario such as cops and criminals gives everyone direction.
  • Use the chat to move the story forward.
  • Respect other players' roleplay avoid jumping into someone else's scene uninvited.
  • Invite new players into your group to grow the story.
05

When things go wrong

Warn
In short Most common problems have a quick fix, and the respawn option solves a surprising number of them.

If your pay is not coming in, check that you have selected a job and are at the correct workplace location. If a home purchase is not going through, verify your balance. When something stranger happens and you are stuck, respawning gets you back to a clean state.

Worth watching out for
Not earning pay confirm you have selected a job and are at the correct workplace location.
Cannot buy a home check your balance covers the price.
Stuck or frozen wait a few seconds, then use the respawn option to reset your position.
Repeated bugs leave the game and rejoin; a fresh session clears most persistent issues.

Common questions

FAQ

Should I pick police officer or criminal as my first job?

Police officer comes with steady pay. Criminal involves the risk of being caught by other players but opens up a more action-driven storyline.

What do I do if I get stuck and cannot move?

Wait a few seconds first, since the issue sometimes clears on its own. If you are still stuck, use the respawn option. Leaving and rejoining the game fixes problems that respawning alone does not.

Can I do everything in the game without spending Robux?

Yes — jobs pay in-game money, and that money is all you need to buy homes and cars.
