Three things to focus on from the start
SummaryThe game rewards you for doing these three things repeatedly, and the rewards stack up over a long time. Starting all three early means you are never grinding from scratch later.
- Enemy defeats milestones at 1,000, 5,000, and 25,000 kills
- Elemental advantage hits milestones at 50, 500, and 2,000 hits
- No-down clears milestones at 1, 25, and 100 completed adventures
Weapon upgrades
StepThere are three clear upgrade targets to aim for.
- First upgrade upgrade any weapon once; this alone unlocks your first weapon badge.
- Ten weapons upgraded spread upgrades across ten different weapons as you collect them.
- Level 10 on one weapon push a single weapon all the way to level 10 for the top weapon badge.
Buddy upgrades
StepBuddies watch your back in combat, and upgrading them follows the same step-by-step pattern as weapons. You have milestones at 1, 15, and 30 buddy upgrades, so every buddy you strengthen counts toward the final target.
- First buddy upgrade upgrade any buddy once to unlock the first buddy badge.
- Fifteen buddies upgraded keep upgrading buddies as you acquire them to hit this mid-game target.
- Thirty buddies upgraded the top buddy badge; this one takes time, so start early and stay consistent.
Using elemental advantages
TipsThere are four elements in the game. Landing hits that exploit an enemy's elemental weakness counts toward your elemental hit milestones, and using all four elements at least once unlocks a separate badge on top of that.
- Rotate through all four elements so you unlock the badge for dealing damage with every one of them.
- Elemental advantage hits accumulate across every run, so there is no need to rush — just stay consistent.
Surviving adventures without going down
CheckGoing down resets your streak for this badge track. Consumables and elemental advantages are your two main tools for staying alive.
- Bring consumables into every run using them is also its own badge track, so nothing is wasted.
- Hit enemies with their elemental weakness to end fights quickly and take less damage overall.
Consumable use
WarnConsumable use has three badge milestones at 10, 100, and 500 uses.
