You start by choosing a character, then spend your time earning the two main resources — Yen and Cursed Energy. Use those resources to raise your character's stats and expand your tycoon. Once you are strong enough, challenge a boss and repeat the cycle at a higher level.

How saves and multiple characters work
Summary
Every character you unlock has its own independent save file. If you go back to a character you played before, all the Yen and Cursed Energy you collected last time will still be there. Up to five players can share a single server.
