Choosing your role at the start

Step
In short Every match begins with a choice that sets your entire goal for the round.

  1. Pick a side choose thief or entity before the round gets going.
  2. Know your goal as thief grab items scattered through the building, then reach the exit.
  3. Know your goal as entity listen for footsteps and voices, then hunt thieves down.
  4. Find cover early closets and vents are your first safety net as a thief.

Surviving as a thief

Tips
In short Keeping yourself light and quiet is the difference between escaping and getting caught.

Tips worth knowing
  • The entity can hear your footsteps, so move carefully rather than sprinting everywhere.
  • Your voice also gives away your position.
  • Use closets and vents to break line of sight when an entity gets close.
