Before the race: setting up your car

Step
In short Choosing your engine type and fuel before you line up is the core of Turbo Grid.

The game's preparation screen is where you pick the car you want to run, select an engine type, and choose a fuel before you ever reach the starting line.

  1. Choose an engine type decide between a turbocharged engine and a naturally aspirated one, since each behaves very differently on the strip.
  2. Pick your fuel the best fuel option depends on which engine you are running, so treat these two choices as a pair.

Turbocharged vs. naturally aspirated engines

Table
In short Turbo Grid builds its physics around the real-world difference between these two engine styles.

A turbo engine can produce much stronger acceleration when paired with the right fuel, while a naturally aspirated engine offers more predictable, consistent behaviour.

Turbocharged enginedelivers larger acceleration potential.
Naturally aspirated engineproduces steadier, more consistent performance characteristics across a run.
Fuel pairingeach engine type has a fuel combination that best complements its behaviour.
