First steps when you start out
StepBefore you pull from the gacha, check the lobby for any quests, level rewards, and inventory items you can claim for free. Redeeming codes right away gives you a head start on diamonds before you spend a single gem. Once you have your starting currency sorted, pick one weapon that can hit multiple enemies or attack from a distance and focus all your upgrades on it.
- Claim free rewards check quests, level rewards, and your inventory in the lobby before doing anything else.
- Redeem codes open Settings with the gear icon in the top-right corner, type each code exactly into the 'Enter code…' field, and press OK.
- Check your starting weapon look at its attack range and skill in your inventory before deciding whether to summon.
- Pick one weapon choose a ranged or area-attack weapon you feel comfortable with and put all upgrades into it.
- Run World 1, Chapter 1 use your first run to learn dash timing, skill range, and what each door type does rather than rushing the boss.

Door choices between rooms
TableAfter clearing a room you choose a door, and the options are random each time, so not every type will always appear. Your main question before choosing is whether you can survive the next room, not which reward looks most appealing.
| Life door | take this when health is below half, before a boss, or on a chapter you have never cleared before |
| Power door | take this when health is fine but enemies are taking too long to kill |
| Experience door | take this when both health and damage output are comfortable and you want to level up faster |
| Gem door | take this when you are farming a chapter you already clear reliably |
Combat movement and survival basics
TipsMost early deaths come from being surrounded, not from lacking firepower. Learning where to stand and when to dash matters more than your weapon level in the first few chapters.
- Stay near the outer edge of the room so you always have room to escape.
- Walk the outer edge to pull small enemies in the same direction, then hit them all at once with an area skill.
- Save your dash for the moment after an enemy telegraphs a charge, a projectile, or a ground attack — then dodge sideways or diagonally.
- Hold your strongest skills for rooms with multiple tough enemies or for boss fights, not for single weak enemies.
- When one weapon's skill is cooling down, switch to your other weapon to keep dealing damage.
Weapons, elements, and build focus
TipsRarity alone does not make a weapon worth keeping — also check its attack range, skill cooldown, element, and how much it grows when upgraded. Three elements are available across weapons, and each suits a different situation.
- Build around a ranged or area weapon as your first slot and a high-damage or defensive weapon as your second.
- Fire weapons work best in rooms packed with enemies, since their mark-and-burst mechanic hits groups at once.
- Poison weapons deal damage over time and are strongest against high-health enemies and bosses.
- Lightning weapons charge up between hits and deal extra damage on the next strike, pairing naturally with ranged weapons that can land that big hit cleanly.
- When adding traits to a weapon, match the trait element to the weapon element — fire traits on fire weapons, poison on poison, lightning on lightning.
- Lock any weapon you want to keep before entering the upgrade screen so it cannot accidentally be used as material.
- Pull duplicates and low-rarity weapons from the gacha serve as upgrade materials for your main weapon, so the gacha does double duty.
Diamond and resource farming
CheckDiamonds fuel the gacha, which is both your source of new weapons and your source of upgrade materials. Running out of diamonds stalls your progress, so treat the daily routine as non-negotiable. Your weapon's upgrade cap is tied directly to your character level, so raise both at the same time or you will hit a wall.
- Run the Daily Dungeon twice every day each clear gives enough diamonds for ten gacha pulls.
- Do main-stage loops when you have extra time, since diamond rooms appear during those runs and hand out 100 diamonds at once.
- Redeem every available code before spending diamonds anywhere else.
- If a chapter is giving you repeated failures, drop back to the previous chapter to farm gems and materials while also clearing daily quests you earn more resources in the same time.
- Raise your character level alongside your weapon level, since the weapon's upgrade cap is tied to it.
- Focus upgrades on one main weapon and one support weapon only; splitting materials across more weapons slows your damage growth.
Getting unstuck when progress stops
StepHitting a wall almost always comes down to a level gap or trying to solo content that gets easier with more players. Work through these checks in order before assuming you need to spend more resources.
- Check character level confirm it is keeping pace with your weapon level, since the weapon's upgrade cap is tied directly to it.
- Drop back one chapter return to the last chapter you can clear comfortably and farm gems, materials, and daily quest progress at the same time.
- Tighten your upgrade focus if you have been spreading materials across multiple weapons, consolidate everything into your main weapon.
- Switch to multiplayer more players clear rooms significantly faster, and co-op is the single most reliable way to push past a section that keeps stopping you.
Staying safe in and around the game
WarnAccounts, tools, and offers outside the game that promise free diamonds or weapons are scams. Robux purchases should always be checked with a parent or guardian before confirming.

Common questions
FAQCan I play Dungeon Hunters without spending Robux?
Yes. Redeeming codes, clearing the Daily Dungeon twice a day, and looping main-stage runs gives you a steady stream of diamonds at no cost. Two weapon slots are available by default, and focusing upgrades on those two weapons is enough to make strong progress without paying.
Where do I enter a code?
Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen to open Settings, then type your code exactly into the 'Enter code…' field and press OK. Codes are case-sensitive, single-use per account, and expire after a while, so use them as soon as you find them.
Which weapon should I upgrade first?
Start with a weapon that can attack from a distance or hit multiple enemies at once, and put all your upgrades into that one.
How do I get past a room or boss that keeps killing me?
First confirm that your character level is keeping pace with your weapon level, since the weapon's upgrade cap is tied directly to it. If both are fine, drop back to the previous chapter to farm materials and then return, or switch to multiplayer where more players clear rooms much faster.
How do I play with a friend?
Use Roblox's built-in join feature to enter your friend's session, or agree on the same server before you both load in.
I accidentally used an important weapon as upgrade material. How do I avoid that?
Before entering the upgrade screen, put a lock on any weapon you want to keep. Locked weapons cannot be selected as materials, so check that lock before confirming any upgrade.
