The basic merge loop
Step
Every Chiikawa on your screen can be selected with a tap. When you tap a second one of the same kind, the two combine into a single, rarer Chiikawa. Keep repeating this to work your way up to the rarest characters.
- Pick a Chiikawa tap any character on screen to select it.
- Find its match tap a second Chiikawa of the exact same kind.
- Watch the merge the two combine and a rarer Chiikawa appears in their place.
- Keep going merge the new ones together the same way to reach even higher rarities.

Spending your gems
Tips
Gems are the main resource you collect while playing. You can put them toward powering up your Chiikawas, or you can spend them on cosmetic unlocks — the choice is yours.
- Trails add a visual effect around your Chiikawa and are unlocked with gems.
- Themes change the look of the whole screen, also purchased with gems.
What pets actually do
TipsPets are a separate system running alongside the merge board. They generate cash automatically during your session, which feeds directly into your ability to power up.
- Pets earn cash for you automatically while you are in the game.
- Cash is the currency pets produce, used to pay for power-ups.
