The Halloween Event
The Halloween Event returns to Primal Pursuit this October and November! Register now to be notified when it begins. D…
Primal Pursuit drops players into a prehistoric island where one side plays as a dinosaur hunting down every human, and the other side scrambles to grab weapons and reach the escape point before time runs out. Both roles play completely differently, so this guide walks you through how to survive as a human, how to hunt effectively as a dinosaur, and how to earn bonus rewards from the start.
The game awards Bones and EXP for almost everything you do, and joining the official Roblox group permanently raises both by 20%. If you have a redeem code, enter it in the in-game code box before jumping into a match — codes can expire, so the sooner you use one the better. Take a moment in the lobby to read how each team wins, since the goals for humans and dinosaurs are completely different.
Humans start the round without weapons, so your first move is always to search the map. The island is the whole arena, and weapons are spread across it. Once you have gear, stick close to other players — a group is much harder for the dinosaur to pick off than a lone runner. Keep the escape point fixed in your mind from the moment the round begins, because the clock is always counting down.

The dinosaur has no weapons, so every kill comes from closing the gap and landing melee attacks. Your speed lets you sweep the whole island quickly, which is important because humans who reach the exit are gone for good. Lone or straggling humans are far easier to catch than a tight cluster, so prioritize whoever has separated from the group.
Whether you keep dying as a human or keep missing kills as a dinosaur, the problem is almost always either positioning or information — you are either in the wrong place or you do not know where the enemy is.
| Dying quickly as a human | search harder for weapons; an unarmed player has almost no options |
| Getting picked off alone | regroup with teammates instead of running your own route |
| Missing the exit | memorize the path at round start instead of figuring it out under pressure |
| Losing humans as the dinosaur | widen your search pattern to cover parts of the map you are skipping |
| Attacks missing | watch the human's movement direction and aim ahead of them rather than at their current position |
The game tracks your progress through a level system that goes at least to 100, with badges marking every ten levels along the way. Bones are the in-game currency you earn from playing, and the group bonus stacks on top of whatever codes give you. There are currently thirteen working codes tracked for this game — enter them one at a time in the in-game box, since each code works only once per account.
Players are assigned to a side at the start of each round. The assignment changes from round to round, so you will end up on both sides over time.
Yes — joining the group gives you a 20% Bones and EXP bonus, and entering valid codes adds free Bones to your account.
Codes can only be used once per account, so if you have already entered it, it will not work a second time. Codes also expire after a period of time, which is why it is worth entering new ones as soon as you see them.
Badges are awarded at every ten levels up through level 100, confirming that the level system reaches at least 100.
