You begin with basic gear and no upgrades. The loop is simple: dive, collect money, upgrade, dive deeper.
- Jump in drop into the water with your starting gear and collect as much money as you can before surfacing.
- Upgrade Speed faster swimming means you reach deeper zones quicker.
- Upgrade Oxygen more oxygen means longer dives, which means more money per trip.
- Upgrade your Gear your equipment needs to withstand the pressure at greater depths, so keep it levelled up alongside your other stats.
- Push deeper once your stats improve, move to a deeper zone.
How depth and earnings work
Tips
Depth and reward are directly linked in Diving Legends. As soon as your gear, speed, and oxygen can handle a deeper zone, move there — the extra money adds up fast.
- The deeper you dive, the more money each dive returns.
- Higher Speed cuts the round-trip time to deep zones, raising your earnings per minute.
- Higher Oxygen lets you stay at depth longer, increasing what you collect in a single dive.
The three islands
Summary
There are three islands to complete, and you work through them one at a time. Finishing all three means you have seen everything the game's progression has to offer.
- First Island clearing it earns the Absolute Legend badge.
- Second Island clearing it earns the We're going deeper... badge.
- Third Island clearing it earns the Universal Diving Legend badge, completing the set.
What to check when you are stuck

- Oxygen are you arriving at the right depth but having to turn back almost immediately? Upgrade Oxygen so you can actually spend time there.
- Gear are you taking too much damage or dying outright at a new depth? Your equipment is not yet rated for that pressure, so upgrade it before going back.
