How a round works

Step
In short Every round gives you two sources of information — sound and tiles — and the fastest correct answer wins.

At the start of each round, an ASMR sound begins playing and a set of tiles appears on screen. You flip tiles one by one to uncover pieces of the hidden item's image. As those pieces stack up alongside the audio, you build a picture of what the item is. When you're confident, submit your answer.

  1. Listen first the ASMR sound starts immediately and is your earliest clue about the item
  2. Flip a tile click or tap any tile to reveal part of the hidden image underneath
  3. Keep flipping each additional tile shows more of the image, so don't stop at one if you're unsure
  4. Read the image use colour, shape, and size from the uncovered area to narrow down your guess
  5. Submit your answer type it in as soon as you're certain, because speed matters for your score

How scoring works

Summary
In short The player who answers correctly first earns the most points, and the overall winner is whoever has the highest total across all rounds.

Points are handed out at the end of every round. Getting the right answer is not enough on its own — being first to get it right is what earns the top score. Answering later means fewer points, even if your answer is correct. After all rounds finish, the player with the highest combined total wins the game.

  • First correct answer highest points for that round
  • Later correct answers progressively fewer points
  • Final result total score across every round decides the winner

Reading ASMR sounds as clues

Tips
In short Treating the audio as information about material and texture, not just background noise, will make you faster than players who ignore it.

The sound in each round is not decoration — it tells you something real about what the item is made of or how its surface feels. Combining that with what you see in the tiles gets you to the answer faster than relying on either one alone.

Tips worth knowing
  • Scratchy or crinkling sounds point to paper or wooden materials
  • Rustling or shaking sounds suggest plastic or fabric
  • Match the sound texture to what you see in the tiles — they describe the same object
04

Tips for new players

Check
In short You do not need a perfect ear for ASMR to do well, because the tile images always give you a second path to the answer.

If the sound doesn't click for you straight away, focus on flipping several tiles quickly and let the image guide you. The more rounds you play, the more familiar the sounds become, so your reaction time naturally gets shorter over time.

  • Flip more than one tile early more image means more certainty
  • Notice sound patterns round after round repeated item types will start to feel recognisable
