How a round works
StepAt the start of each round, one player is randomly chosen as the racer. Everyone else joins the police team, which gets help from AI officers. The racer wins by finishing three tasks before the clock runs out; the police win by making an arrest.
- Role draw wait for the game to assign racer or cop at the start of the round.
- Task work (racer) move through the city completing each task while staying clear of police.
- Coordinate (cops) spread out, watch the AI officers, and cut off the racer's escape routes.
- Round end the round closes when the racer completes all tasks and escapes, the timer expires, or the racer is arrested.

The condition system
WarnThe game tracks how much chaos the racer causes in the city. As that damage climbs, the police become increasingly aggressive and capable. Reaching condition 4 or condition 5 means the heat is extremely high, which is a serious disadvantage for the racer.
Controls for keyboard and controller
SummaryThe game supports both keyboard-and-mouse and a gamepad. Every vehicle handles identically across both input methods.
- Ability Q on keyboard / ButtonY on controller
- Nitro Left Shift on keyboard / ButtonB on controller
- Handbrake Space on keyboard / ButtonA on controller
Police team tactics
TipsThe police team is made up of every player who was not chosen as the racer, and the AI fills in extra units around them.
- Two or more cops closing from different angles at the same time strips away the racer's options far faster than a single pursuer.
- The cop who lands the most hits on the racer earns the Police MVP badge, so stay active and keep pressing rather than hanging back.
Earning and spending coins
StepEvery round you play earns coins. Those coins go into a pool you can spend in the vehicle shop at any time.
- Unlock vehicles spend coins to open new cars with different speed and acceleration profiles.
- Customize style use coins to change your vehicle's look and colours.
