Leveling up as a human is seriously tough (prob strong once you do though), so when you're human you're better off just grabbing 500 coins, turning into a vampire for night vision, and then actually playing. Human nights are pitch black and seriously annoying. There's also wizard—unlike vampires, wizards don't get night vision so it's super dark, but they can one-shot civilians with magic right from level 0 so they're strong. Vampires get annoying once your blood meter runs out.
