First things to do when you join
Step
SMEAR throws you straight into combat, so knowing the basics before your first fight saves a lot of frustration. On PC, press H to pull up the full controls list inside the game. Once you know how to move and attack, the most important rule is simple: never stop moving.

- Start moving a player who stays in one spot is the first to go down.
- Break terrain the map is fully destroyable, so smash walls and floors to create new angles or cut off enemies.
