First steps when you join

In short
Open each menu once, pick a home, get a car moving, and choose a role before you do anything else.
Before you chase a supercar or a big mansion, spend a couple of minutes learning where everything is. Open the avatar, map, home, vehicle, and job buttons one at a time so you also know how to close them. After that, pick one available home, take out a four-wheeled vehicle, and decide who you are going to play as — that is all you need to start.

- Pick a home choose one with no lock or price displayed so you can use it straight away.
- Take out a car spawn it somewhere wide and flat, away from walls and other vehicles.

Avatar setup that matches your role

Decide on your role first, then build one outfit that fits it rather than changing everything at once.
Trying to adjust everything at once in the avatar editor causes mismatches between your body and clothes. Work through body and face first, then add clothes and hair one item at a time. If your face or body ends up looking wrong, reset to the default body, remove extra accessories, and start again.
Tips worth knowing
- Pick your role before opening the editor — a tourist, doctor, and police officer each need a different look.
- Set body and face before touching clothes or hair.
- Add accessories last, and remove any that overlap or clip through your outfit.
- Never enter your password on an outside website, even if it promises free items.

Choosing a home that works for you
Check
In short
Start with a smaller, unlocked home where the entrance and main rooms are easy to find.
The home list mixes free options, ones that cost in-game currency, and ones that require Robux. A very large home can waste time just navigating between rooms, so a straightforward layout is better for your first choice. If you are playing with friends, share the home number and a nearby landmark the moment you move in.
- Check for a lock, price, or Robux symbol if any of those appear, pick a different home first.
- Confirm the entrance and a parking spot before you commit.
- Tell friends your home number and the nearest landmark straight away.
- Avoid tapping a paid listing repeatedly doing so can push you into a purchase confirmation.

Vehicle order to learn

In short
Master four-wheeled cars first, then move on to bikes, and only try yachts and helicopters once you are comfortable on the road.
Every vehicle needs open space when you spawn it — walls and other cars cause it to appear in the wrong position. After spawning, check that you are in the driver's seat and not the passenger seat by looking for the drive button or a speed display on screen. On a phone, use the drive button; on a computer, follow the key prompts shown on screen.
- Spawn location use a road or car park with plenty of space around you.
- Seat check sit down, then confirm the drive button or speed display appears before moving.
- Car practice accelerate, stop, and turn three times slowly until it feels natural.
- Bikes and scooters try these in a wide area after you are comfortable with cars.

The city has plenty to enjoy outside of earning money, including sports, travel, and attractions.
Dubai RP recently added basketball, soccer, volleyball, and tennis, along with a jetpack to get around in a completely different way. You can also travel to London, visit attractions, shop with friends, or just cruise around in a yacht or helicopter.

- Use the jetpack for a fast and fun way to see the city from above.

Playing with friends without getting separated
Step
In short
Confirm you are on the same server, pick a landmark entrance as your meeting point, and stay put until everyone has arrived.
Being in the same game does not guarantee you are on the same server — players on different servers cannot see each other at all. Once you are together, splitting roles at the start keeps everyone involved, and swapping roles after about ten minutes means nobody is stuck doing the same thing all session.
- Server check confirm you are all on the same server before anyone starts moving around.
- Meeting point name a large building and its entrance so everyone heads to the exact same spot.
- Stay put only the person going to pick someone up should move; everyone else waits at the meeting point.
- Split roles assign driver, guide, shopkeeper, or customer at the start so play begins quickly.
- Rotate roles swap after around ten minutes so everyone gets to try something different.
- Busy server if there is too much disruption, agree to move to a different server together.

What to check when something stops working

Work through one possible cause at a time rather than pressing everything at once.
When something is not responding, the most common causes are an open menu blocking input, sitting in the wrong seat, or being on a different server from your friends. Go through the list below in order and stop as soon as the problem is fixed — trying multiple fixes at once makes it impossible to know what actually worked.
- Close any open menu or chat box before trying the action again.
- Check that a home or vehicle has no lock or price symbol stopping you from using it.
- Move to the driver's seat if a vehicle is not responding the passenger seat does nothing.
- Delete the vehicle or prop and respawn it in a wider space.
- Respawn your character if the issue continues after the steps above.
- Rejoin a different server as a last resort if the same problem keeps happening.

Staying safe while you play

Keep personal information private, never share passwords, and use the block and report tools whenever you need them.
Dubai RP puts you in a shared city with other players, so some interactions can be unexpected. For family roleplay, agree on roles with the other person and get their consent before using any invite or carry actions. You are always allowed to decline an invitation from someone you do not know.
Worth watching out for
Never type your real name, school, address, phone number, or social media details in chat.
Never share your password with anyone, including friends.
Never enter your password on an outside website, even if it promises free Robux or rare items.
Always get the other player's agreement before family roleplay actions like inviting or carrying.

Glossary- Roleplay (RP)
- A style of play where you act as a character — such as a police officer or doctor — and build scenes and stories inside the game world.
- In-game currency
- The money you earn by working jobs inside the game, separate from Robux, used to buy homes, vehicles, and other items.
- Server
- One running instance of the game world; players on different servers cannot see each other, so you need to be on the same one as your friends.
- Supercar
- A high-performance luxury car available to purchase in the game once you have saved enough in-game currency.
- Yacht
- A large luxury boat you can buy and sail in the water areas of the Dubai map.
- Attraction
- A ride or activity found in the game's recreational areas.
- Prop
- An item such as food, furniture, or a bag that you can place in the world to set the scene for a roleplay situation.
- Avatar editor
- The menu where you change your character's hair, face, body, clothes, and accessories.

FAQCan I play through the whole game without spending real money?
Yes — every job, home option, and vehicle in the game can be reached by earning in-game currency through work.
How do I join the same server as my friend?
Confirm you are on the same server before either of you starts moving around. Once you are both in, use a large building's entrance as your meeting point, and make sure only the person picking the other up moves — everyone else should stay put.
Which job should I pick first?
Taxi and delivery roles are a good starting point because they help you learn the map and the tasks are straightforward. You can switch jobs at any time, so trying a few early on is the best way to find what you enjoy repeating.
What should I do if I run out of money?
Go back to any available job and work through a few shifts to rebuild your balance. If your current job feels slow, switch to a different one and see whether the pay arrives faster.
Can I say no to a family roleplay invitation from someone I do not know?
Yes, you can always decline. Family roleplay actions like inviting or carrying another character should only happen after both players have agreed. If an interaction makes you uncomfortable, leaving the situation or moving to a different server is completely fine.
Are yachts and helicopters available from the start?
Each vehicle has its own availability conditions — check for a lock, in-game price, or Robux symbol. Even once a vehicle is available to you, practise in a wide open area first: yachts at the port, helicopters on a large landing space.
