24 Hours Overnight is a co-op survival game where you and your friends build a base inside a store while dangerous employees and scary monsters roam the aisles each night. This guide covers how to get started, how to survive the nights, what to spend your gems on, and how to chase the game's badges.
In shortSorting out codes and controls in the first minute saves you trouble later.
Before the first night hits, there are a few quick tasks worth doing. Getting your free gems early means you will have something to spend at the Night Market on Day 3. Sorting out your camera control also makes building and navigating the store a lot easier.
Redeem your codeopen the code input form and enter the active code to collect free gems. Each code only works once per account.
Enable Shift Lockpress Ctrl to turn on Shift Lock. Your camera locks to your character and you get an aiming reticle.
Scout the storewalk around and visit different areas of the store. The Nomad badge rewards you for visiting all Plots, so exploring early doubles as badge progress.
In shortStone and metal walls are worth the extra effort because enemies tear through wood quickly.
Your base is the difference between surviving a night and losing everything. The store gives you several materials to build with, but they are not equal.
Wood walls
enemies break them fastest
Stone walls
noticeably tougher than wood
Metal walls
the most durable option
Stairs and height
adding a second floor slows enemy progress and gives your team room to retreat
In shortSave gems before Day 3 so you can grab Night Market items when the shop opens.
Starting on Day 3, a special shop called the Night Market appears during the night phase. It stocks items you cannot buy anywhere else. After Day 3 it comes back every couple of days. The Shopping Spree badge requires buying every item in the game, and the Laser Wars badges specifically require buying laser items.
Tips worth knowing
The Portal Gun lets you move around the store and escape bad situations quickly
The Gravity Gun lets you temporarily stop enemies in their tracks
Laser items count toward the Laser Wars I and Laser Wars II badges
Buying every available item across all shops is what unlocks the Shopping Spree badge
