About

Overview

Everything Upgrade Tree (EUT) is a Roblox incremental game where you keep unlocking and buying upgrades across a growing tree of baseplates. The further you progress, the more systems open up — cards, mining, astronomy, puzzles, and reset layers that reshape how you play. This guide covers how to get started, how the major mechanics connect, and what to do when you get stuck.

Getting started on the Points Baseplate

Step
In short Every other system in the game sits behind upgrades you buy here first, so push the Points Baseplate as far as you can before branching out.

When you first join, your only job is to accumulate Points (₽). Upgrades #1 through #6 form the core of early growth, each one stacking on the last. The Research Center unlocks through upgrade #8, and that opens the λ (research) currency you need for much of what follows.

  1. Buy #1 first it starts your ₽ income at 1 per second and costs nothing.
  2. Work toward #2 and #3 for flat multipliers, then pour points into #4, which gains a new level cap every time you extend it.
  3. Grab #5 early it makes your ₽ boost itself based on how much ₽ you already have, so it compounds quickly.
  4. Buy #8 (New Technologies) for 10k₽ to unlock the Research Center and start earning λ.
  5. Once you have λ, buy the Point Gain upgrades in the Research Center to multiply ₽ income before you touch the more expensive tree upgrades.
  6. Upgrade #16 unlocks the Leveling Center for 24.99T₽, and #18 opens the Bonus Baseplate both are permanent.

The three major reset layers

Table
In short Each reset layer wipes your current progress but hands you buffs that make your next run dramatically faster, so resetting on purpose is the main way to advance.

EUT has three named reset layers. Understanding what each one costs and gives back will stop you from resetting too early or holding off too long.

Prestigecosts all your Points and Research upgrades, gives Prestige Points (₹) and gamechanging buffs; buy the Mystic Obelisk with #1p (250₹) right after your first Prestige.
Transcensionthe third major layer, unlocked further into the game, resets you again in exchange for Transcend Points and new upgrade boards.
Sacrificeadded in v0.6.0; it wipes your stats but opens the Sacrifice Baseplate and its own set of upgrades.

Challenges and the Mystic Obelisk

Step
In short Completing challenges is almost essential for leaderboard progress, and the permanent buffs they give make each reset much more powerful.

The Mystic Obelisk is bought with upgrade #1p on the Prestige Baseplate. They get harder each time, but you can redo them after transcending unless you upgrade the Synchronizer.

  1. Open the Obelisk navigate to the tabs on its left side and choose a challenge.
  2. Start the challenge hold the button down rather than just tapping it; a vote fires even in a private server unless you turn it off under Server > Permissions.
  3. Endure the debuff the penalty shown on screen is active until you complete or cancel the challenge.
  4. Complete the requirement for Prestige challenges this means prestiging while the debuff is running.
  5. Collect the permanent buff for example, finishing Point Deduction 1 gives a x3 post-prestige boost.
  6. Cancel safely if needed hold the red button; it is the same button used to start.
05

Cards, Mining, and Astronomy

Tips
In short These three side systems all feed back into your main currencies, so unlocking them as soon as you can is worth the cost.

Each of these systems has its own baseplate and progression loop, but they all produce boosts that accelerate your Points, Points-X, or other core currencies.

Tips worth knowing
  • Cards let you slot boosts that apply across every baseplate, including the Bonus Baseplate.
  • Mining is unlocked through the Mining Baseplate; ore you dig up is sold at the ore selling station, not the chest.
  • To enchant a piece of gear, go to the enchantment table, select what you want to enchant, choose how many Fragments to spend, then confirm.
  • The Astronomy Baseplate opens after buying upgrade #17t for 15k Transcend Points; its main currency Gamma (γ) comes from stars you spawn in the Telescope.
  • Stars have two stats — mass and temperature — both of which raise γ production; destroy old weak stars and spawn new ones rather than keeping the originals, because Star Modifier upgrades only raise the average of newly created stars.
  • Constellations link at least three stars together for a distance-based γ bonus, but the multiplier caps around 3.5x, so very long constellations give diminishing returns.
06

Abyssal Levels and Points-X

Summary
In short Abyssal Levels are an XP layer that sits inside the Points-X system and unlocks meaningful boosts the deeper you push it.

Abyssal XP (AXP) is gained by sacrificing XP at the Points-X Baseplate. There is a 15-second cooldown between AXP and Points-X conversions, and triggering one puts the other on cooldown too.

  • Level 1 XP multiplier kicks in, scaling with your Abyssal level.
  • Level 3 XP level requirements start dropping.
  • Level 5 Research gain is added alongside the Points-X boost, and the debuff from upgrade #2x is removed.
  • Level 7 Black Hole solar mass gain increases with each further level.
07

Badges worth chasing — and how to get them

Check
In short Most badges follow naturally from normal play, but a handful need specific actions that are easy to miss.

There are 25 badges in EUT. Several unlock through ordinary progression milestones, while others require deliberate steps. A few belong to the Hidden Obscurities series and need more unusual actions.

  • Prestige at least once to earn the Prestige badge, then buy the Mystic Obelisk and complete Point Deduction nine times on it for Patience of Steel.
  • For Locked in, reach the maximum level of Bonus upgrade #8b to obtain 2048 Golden Studs.
  • For Mines sweeped, unlock the Beta Baseplate, purchase the Minesweeper upgrade (#3b+), then win a round with density set to 20% or higher.
  • For the Hidden Obscurities badge 'TIL THE SKIES, stand on top of a level 2048 Bonus #5b or #8b stud tower.
  • For the ??? badge, find the light-brown house with the blue roof on the Bonus Baseplate, interact with the NPC on the couch, and complete the obby sequence.
  • For New Life (Hidden Obscurities), buy your first star at the Telescope; for Scourge of the Universe, destroy 25 stars in a single session.
  • The Enthusiast badge requires playing in your private server for three days and also unlocks the Global Chat channel.

Common questions

FAQ

How do I start a challenge without it cancelling immediately?

Hold the button down rather than tapping it. The game will ask the server to vote on starting; in a private server you can disable that vote under Server > Permissions.

Why are my Star Modifier upgrades not improving my existing stars?

Mass Genetics, Unbounding Temperatures, and Distanced Homage only raise the average stats of stars you create after buying those upgrades. Destroy your weaker stars and spawn new ones to get the benefit.

Do I lose my challenges when I transcend?

Yes, transcending resets your challenge progress, but upgrading the Synchronizer lets you keep some of that progress across transcensions.

Where do I sell ore from mining?

Ore is sold at the dedicated ore selling station inside the Mining Baseplate, not in the chest — that was changed to avoid confusion.

How do I unlock Global Chat?

You need the Enthusiast badge, which requires playing in a private server for three days. Once you have it, the Global Chat channel becomes available.
