Overview

Corruptive Darkness drops up to 40 players into a battle between Survivors and Corrupted, each side fighting to push the other back. Survivors use weapons to eliminate Corrupted players, while Corrupted players hunt Survivors down to spread the darkness. This guide covers how both sides work, how points and badges stack up, and what to keep in mind while you play.

Choosing a side

In short Your side determines which point type you earn and how you play the whole match.

Every match splits players into two teams. Pick the one that suits how you want to play.

Survivor	eliminate Corrupted players with weapons and stay out of the darkness
Corrupted	hunt down Survivors and eliminate them to grow the darkness

Tips

In short Both sides follow the same two-stage milestone path, just with different point types.

Survivors earn Research Points and Corrupted players earn Soul Points. Each side has two badge milestones — 500 points and then 5,000 points.

Tips worth knowing

Hit 500 Research Points as a Survivor to earn the Junior Researcher badge, then push to 5,000 for MAD Researcher.
Hit 500 Soul Points as Corrupted to earn Corrupted Menace, then push to 5,000 for Corrupted God.
The two-stage structure is the same on both sides, so the grind feels familiar no matter which team you pick.

Finding the Shovel

In short The Grave Digger badge unlocks the moment you pick up the hidden Shovel somewhere on the map.

The Shovel is hidden somewhere in the game's field. No badge or milestone is required before you go looking — you can hunt for it any time.

Move around the Shovel is placed somewhere in the field, not handed to you at the start.
Pick it up the Grave Digger badge unlocks as soon as you obtain it.

Rules to play by

Warn

In short Cheating or exploiting results in a permanent ban, so report problems instead of abusing them.

The developers enforce these rules strictly. A permanent ban means you lose access to the game with no way back in.

Worth watching out for

Cheating or exploiting in any form is not allowed and will get you permanently banned if caught.

If you find a bug, report it to the official group AS: Roblox do not use it yourself.

Glossary

Research Points: The points Survivors earn through gameplay, tracked toward the Junior Researcher and MAD Researcher badges.
Soul Points: The points Corrupted players earn through gameplay, tracked toward the Corrupted Menace and Corrupted God badges.
Grave Digger: A badge that unlocks when you find and pick up the hidden Shovel somewhere on the map.

What do I do if I find a bug?

Report it to the official group AS: Roblox. Using a bug yourself counts as exploiting, which can lead to a permanent ban.

Can I go for the Shovel badge while playing normally?

Yes. You can search for it during any match regardless of which side you are on.
