Hello Bear5 is a horror escape game where Bear5 has shown up in your neighborhood and will chase you down if you're not careful. This guide covers how to survive, where to explore, and what secrets the map is hiding.
In shortUse the opening moments to learn the map before Bear5 starts hunting you.
Bear5 does not appear instantly, so you have a window at the start to get your bearings. Spend it moving through every room rather than standing still. Knowing the layout ahead of time makes every decision faster when you are actually being chased.
Walk the whole mapcheck which rooms connect to which and where the dead ends are.
Find the exitconfirm where you need to reach to actually escape before the chase starts.
In shortRunning in a straight line is the worst choice; use corners and elevation to keep distance.
Once Bear5 is on you, the map's geometry is your best tool. Putting a corner between you and Bear5 breaks its view for a moment, which is enough time to slip into cover. Stairs and elevation changes can also work in your favor, so take routes that force Bear5 to change direction rather than letting it close the gap on an open stretch.
Tips worth knowing
Cut around corners to drop out of Bear5's sight and buy yourself a second to hide.
Use stairs and level changes — they slow down a pursuit and give you a timing advantage.
Never run the same corridor twice in a row; predictable routes are easy to cut off.
Throw an object at Bear5 if you get the chance — it is a legitimate move the game acknowledges.
If you reach a hiding spot, take it; a brief break from the chase resets the pressure.

HELLO HALLOWEEN
The map will be Halloween Themed for 2 WEEKS, collect CANDY, find NEW EASTER EGGS, play NEW in-game EVENTS!
In shortThe underground area and the rooftop are both reachable, and so is the top of the tallest tree.
The map has more to it than the ground floor. Three locations in particular reward players who look beyond the obvious paths. Reaching the tallest tree is notably harder without a Gravity Coil, so if you want the clean challenge, try it on foot.
Undergroundthere is an area beneath the map; find the way down.
Rooftopthe top of the building is accessible if you look for a route up.
Tallest treeclimb it; the game itself tips its hat to anyone who makes it without a Gravity Coil.

When you keep getting caught
Check
In shortIf you cannot escape, the gap is almost always map knowledge or too few known hiding spots.
Getting caught sends you back to the start, but each run teaches you something. Before trying again, think through what you did not know rather than just repeating the same route.
Do you know at least two hiding spots, not just one? A single fallback is easy to lose.
Is your route to the exit clear, or are you improvising it mid-chase?
