First steps when you load in

In short
Finishing the tutorial and placing your first desk is the fastest way to get cash flowing.
When you first open the game, follow every on-screen arrow and prompt until the tutorial is completely done. Once it finishes, check whether you can claim any rewards for liking the game or joining the developer group. Then head to the Store and redeem the free code for a Blue Cheese Crate. After that, place the crate and open it so you have a desk earning cash as quickly as possible.
- Finish the tutorial follow the prompts in order and do not start side tasks while they are active.
- Collect free rewards like the game and join the group.
- Open the Store find the code input field and redeem the free Blue Cheese Crate code.
- Place the crate on an empty floor tile pick it from your inventory and set it down where nothing else is sitting.
- Wait for the countdown do not leave the server, sell the crate, or rebirth while the timer is running.
- Place the desk you receive it only generates cash once it is on the studio floor, not while it sits in your inventory.

How crates work

A crate sitting in your inventory earns you nothing — the full process is place, wait, open, then place the desk inside.
Crates do not turn into desks the moment you receive them. You have to take them from your inventory, drop them on an empty floor tile, wait through a countdown, then interact with them again to open them. If the placement outline appears red, the crate is overlapping another object, so shift position until the outline goes clear. Only after you place the resulting desk on the floor does cash actually start coming in.
Worth watching out for
A red placement outline means something is in the way
move or rotate the crate until the outline turns clear.
Leaving the server during the countdown can cause the crate to behave unexpectedly
wait until it is fully opened.
Do not rebirth or sell while a countdown is active.
The desk you get out of the crate still needs to be placed on the floor

Your studio's cash income comes from desks placed on the floor. Each desk has a rarity and a fixed cash-per-second rate. Higher-rarity desks earn more per second.

When and how to rebirth

In short
Rebirth only once buying new desks stops meaningfully moving your income, and always prepare before you pull the trigger.
Rebirth resets your studio progress in exchange for a permanent multiplier that boosts earnings on the next run. The button becoming available does not mean it is the right moment to use it. Read the confirmation screen carefully so you know exactly what you will lose and what carries over.

- Wait until purchasing new desks barely moves your income before considering a rebirth.
- Open and place any unplaced crates before you rebirth so nothing is wasted.
- Collect all pending cash and rewards first.

Troubleshooting a stuck income

Cash not moving almost always comes down to a desk in inventory, an unassigned worker, or an unopened crate.
If your cash counter is not climbing, run through this list before assuming something is broken. The three most common causes are a desk left in the inventory, a worker that was never assigned, and a crate that was placed but never clicked open after the countdown. If a purchase does not appear to take effect, rejoining the server often fixes the display.
- Check that every desk is on the studio floor anything still in your inventory earns zero.
- Confirm each worker is assigned to a desk or streaming spot, not just sitting in inventory.
- Look for any crate that finished its countdown but was never opened with a second interaction.
- Make sure you are not confusing decorations for desks decorations do not produce cash on their own.
- Distinguish between your cash total and your subscriber count they are separate numbers.
- Rejoin the server if a purchase seems to have disappeared or not registered.

Why is my cash not going up even though I bought a desk?
The desk is almost certainly still sitting in your inventory instead of on the studio floor. Pick it from your inventory and place it on an empty tile. Also check that any workers you have are actually assigned to desks, and that no crates are waiting to be opened after their countdown finished.
