About

Overview

Break a Lucky Block! is a simulation tycoon game by Slime Time Studios where you smash lucky blocks, collect brainrot characters, and build up a base that earns cash automatically. The basic loop every new player needs

Step
In short Breaking blocks, carrying brainrots back to your plot, and spending your cash on a stronger pickaxe is the entire early game.

You start with a wooden pickaxe. Walk out onto the field, hit a lucky block with it, and a brainrot character will appear. Pick it up, run it back to your plot, and drop it into one of the ground slots — it will start generating cash on its own. Repeat that cycle until you have enough money to buy a better pickaxe from the shop, then repeat it again.

  1. Break a block left-click a lucky block on the field to destroy it and release a brainrot.
  2. Pick it up collect the brainrot that pops out.
  3. Run it home carry it back to your plot without getting caught.
  4. Fill a slot place it in an empty ground slot so it starts earning cash automatically.
  5. Hit the shop spend your accumulated cash on a stronger pickaxe before your next run.

Pickaxe upgrades

Check
In short Moving up the pickaxe upgrade path increases how much you earn per run.

A stronger pickaxe breaks blocks faster, which means more brainrots per trip. The upgrade order runs Wood, Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Rainbow, with Disco representing the top tier. Secret Blocks — rare field spawns that take longer to crack — are guaranteed to drop high-rarity brainrots.

  • Is your pickaxe the strongest you can currently afford?
  • Have you checked for Secret Blocks on the field? They guarantee a high-rarity brainrot.
  • Are all your base slots filled with brainrots right now?
03

Surviving Sammy

Warn
In short Sammy cannot be defeated, so your only goal when he gets close is to put distance between you and him as fast as possible.

Sammy wanders the field and will disrupt you if he catches you. During the Hacker Event — which runs for thirty minutes every thirty minutes in a far corner of the map — a faster variant called Hacker Sammy appears, making the whole area significantly more dangerous.

Worth watching out for
Stop swinging your pickaxe the moment you hear Sammy approaching figure out your escape route first.
Drop the brainrots you are carrying if it is the only way to get away clean.
During the Hacker Event, Hacker Sammy moves much faster than normal treat the area with extra caution.
Let other players draw his attention and use that window to mine somewhere on the opposite side of the field.

The Hacker Wheel and Fuse Machine

Tips
In short Spinning the Hacker Wheel every hour and fusing low-rarity brainrots into better ones are two free upgrades available to all players.

Next to the Admin Machine in the base area you will find the Hacker Wheel, which you can spin once per hour at no cost. Prizes include the God Hacker Lucky Block at a 0.5% chance, the Hacker Glove at 1.5%, and a 2x Server Luck Boost for the whole server at 5%. The Fuse Machine lets you combine four brainrots into a single one of higher rarity. Feeding four Hacker-type brainrots into it raises your odds of getting a Hacker-type result.

Tips worth knowing
  • Spin the Hacker Wheel every hour — it resets once per hour.
  • Never fuse randomly — put four brainrots of the same type in together to push the result toward that same type.
  • Use fusing to turn a pile of low-rarity characters into one high-rarity slot-filler.
  • The wheel is entirely free; Robux lets you spin additional times, but the free spin is available every session.
05

How rebirths work

Table
In short Rebirthing costs you your brainrots but hands back a permanent income multiplier and more base slots, making every future run more profitable.

Rebirthing clears your brainrots and cash but keeps your pickaxe, then permanently raises how much cash every future brainrot generates. Gear unlocks, including a grapple hook and an invisibility cloak, become available as your rank climbs. Reaching rebirth rank 10 delivers a 10x income multiplier and a substantially expanded slot count.

Before rebirthingbuy the strongest pickaxe you can afford, since it survives the reset.
After rebirthingyour multiplier is now higher, so even weak brainrots earn more than they did last cycle.
Grapple hook unlockavailable through rebirth progression.
Rank 10 milestone10x income multiplier and a large slot expansion.
06

Carrying brainrots safely past other players

Tips
In short Other players can take the brainrots you are carrying, so the trip home is just as important as breaking the block in the first place.

PvP is an official part of the game — players can attack each other using weapons from the Gear Shop, and taking someone else's brainrot mid-carry is a valid tactic. Movement gear unlocked through rebirths, such as the grapple hook, makes you harder to catch.

Tips worth knowing
  • Take the shortest path to your plot when carrying a brainrot, and scan for players moving toward you.
  • Use rebirth-unlocked movement gear to make your runs faster and harder to intercept.

Common questions

FAQ

Does my pickaxe reset when I rebirth?

No — your pickaxe carries over to the next cycle.

Can I play without spending Robux?

Yes. Upgrading your pickaxe, rebirthing, and spinning the Hacker Wheel every hour are all free. Robux allows extra wheel spins and cosmetic items.

What should I do when the Hacker Event is active?

Head to the marked location at the far end of the map while the event is running — it lasts thirty minutes and then closes until the next cycle. The Hacker-type brainrots available there are high-value, but Hacker Sammy also spawns during this time and moves faster than normal.

My income has stopped growing — what do I check first?

Look at your base slots first; any empty slot is cash you are losing every second, so fill it. Next, check your pickaxe level — if it is too weak to break Secret Blocks in a reasonable time, upgrade it. If both are already sorted, check whether you have met the rebirth requirements, since the multiplier boost from rebirthing raises your income.
