Getting started on your first day
Step
When you join the game, everything you need to start is already provided. Grab the starter rod, find the fishing spot, and begin casting. Each fish you reel in goes straight into your aquarium collection.
- Equip your rod pick up the starter rod that is available when you first load in.
- Head to the fishing spot walk to the fishing area marked in the game world.

What makes each fish different
Tips
Fish in this game are inspired by real aquarium species, so you will recognize plenty of familiar names. What sets each catch apart is a combination of three things: its size, its enchant, and its variation. These three properties stack to create over 2,000,000 possible unique combinations.
- Size ranges from tiny cuties to large shining giants.
- Enchants are special effects or decorations attached to a fish that make it stand out.
- Variations mean that two fish of the same species can differ in color and appearance.
Upgrading your gear
Check
As you keep fishing, you unlock access to improved equipment. Swapping your rod or trying new bait changes which fish show up. Bigger tanks let you store and display more of your rarest catches.
