Real football rules in play
CheckThe game applies the same rules you would see in a real match.
- Offsides you cannot receive the ball if you are in an offside position when it is played to you.
- Fouls and cards fouls are called just like in real football, and yellow or red cards can follow.
- Advantage if a foul happens but play continues in your favour, the referee lets it run rather than stopping the game.
- Direct and indirect free kicks the type of free kick awarded depends on the kind of foul committed.
- Set pieces throw-ins, corners, and penalties are all in the game.
Shooting and kicking options
TipsYour player knows several ways to strike the ball, and the game selects between them based on the ball's height, your distance from goal, and where defenders are standing.
- Curls bend the ball around defenders or keepers.
- Chips loft the ball over an onrushing goalkeeper.
- Volleys connect before the ball hits the ground.
- Headers let you attack crosses and corners with your head instead of your feet.
- Skills are special moves used to beat a defender in a dribble situation.
- Dives are also available as part of your toolkit during play.
Gear you can unlock
SummaryAfter each match you receive a rating, and that rating feeds into unlocking cosmetic items. Anything you unlock during this pre-alpha period will be kept when the game moves to full alpha.
- Boots footwear cosmetics for outfield players.
- Gloves cosmetics for goalkeepers.
- Celebrations goal animations you can perform after scoring.
Pre-alpha rough edges to expect
WarnThe game is in early testing and the developers are open about its current state. Ball chasing, keepers not saving correctly, and skill gaps between players are all present right now.
