The core game loop

Step
In short Every round follows the same rhythm: open crates, build defenses, survive the wave.

Each session starts with crates. Open them to collect blocks and weapons, then use what you got to build before zombies arrive. Waves roll in one after another.

  1. Open crates each one hands you blocks and weapons you can use right away.
  2. Build your defenses put up walls to block zombie paths and raise towers.
  3. Hold the wave fight off the zombies with whatever weapons you collected from the crates.
  4. Save automatically everything you built carries over to your next session without any extra steps.

Splitting roles with your team

Tips
In short Dividing your group into builders and fighters makes each wave much easier to survive.

Up to twelve players can be in one session, which gives you room to split the work. While one group keeps zombies off the builders, the other group can raise walls and towers. Coordinating where to place structures before a wave arrives helps.

Tips worth knowing
  • Assign players to construction so building continues.
  • Have other players intercept zombies and draw them away from half-finished walls.
  • Talk with teammates about where the next wall or tower should go before you start placing blocks.
03

Getting more blocks from crates

Check
In short Crates are the only way to unlock new block types.

New materials open up the more crates your team opens. A wider variety of blocks means you can build stronger and more creative defenses over time.

  • Open every crate you find blocks unlock on the spot.
  • Share unlocked blocks with teammates anything you open is available to the whole group.
04

The automatic save system

Summary
In short Your base is saved for you after every session, so each run is a chance to improve on what you left behind.

Nothing you build is lost when the session ends. The game saves your entire structure automatically, and the next time you load in, everything is right where you left it.

  • Saving completely automatic, no button to press.
  • Starting point your previous base is waiting for you when you next load in.
  • Improvement cycle add to or fix your build each session without losing earlier work.
