Controls to learn before your first race

In short Trying each control before a race means you won't be fumbling mid-corner when it counts.

TR Legacy gives you several controls beyond basic steering and acceleration, and a few of them are unique enough that they're worth testing in a quiet spot before you line up. The camera toggle alone can change how comfortable the game feels, so it's worth flipping through the views early.

V switches between camera views so you can find the angle that suits you best
Shift handbrake for snapping the vehicle around a tight corner quickly
Q / E shift down or up through the gears to manage your speed and acceleration
M toggles the transmission mode while you're driving
T pulls a wheelie on a bike, lifting the front wheel so you ride on the rear only
Shift + P activates freecam, letting you look around the world from any angle you like

Glossary

Handbrake: Pressing Shift during a race locks up the rear wheel briefly, letting you swing the vehicle around corners faster than normal braking would.
Wheelie: Pressing T on a bike lifts the front wheel off the ground so you ride on the rear wheel only.
Transmission toggle: Pressing M switches the driving mode, changing how the vehicle manages its gears.
Freecam: Pressing Shift and P together lets you move the camera freely around the game world at any angle.
Gear shift: Q shifts down and E shifts up, letting you control acceleration and top speed step by step.

Do I need to spend Robux to unlock all the bikes?

No. Every bike in TR Legacy is free to unlock through regular play. Paying gives no competitive advantage over anyone else.

Will my purchases from The Ride carry over?

They won't transfer automatically. If you want a refund for anything bought in the previous game, reach out to Roblox Support directly, since they control platform transactions.

Is joining the developer group required to play?

It's completely optional. The only benefit of joining is the 30% cash bonus on your rewards.
