Growing your size and speed
TipsEating people is the core loop: every person you catch makes your worm larger and faster. Early on, your small size means quick targets can outrun you, so be selective. As you grow, your speed increases naturally and you can start overwhelming groups instead of picking off individuals.
- Go for isolated people first — a single target with nowhere to run is the easiest catch when you are still small.
- Use corners and dead ends to trap targets — cutting off an escape route matters more than raw speed early on.
- Once your size is up, drive into crowds — your increased speed makes chasing multiple people at once practical.
How level saving works
CheckYour level and size are recorded at the end of each session, meaning your next session starts from a stronger baseline. Leaving mid-session risks losing that session's progress.
- Let a session finish before you quit leaving early can mean losing that run's level gains.
- Expect each new session to start slightly stronger saved levels mean the early game gets easier over time.
Reaching Worm God and using rebirths
TableWorm God is the top level you can reach. Once you are there, the rebirth feature lets you spend in-game currency to permanently upgrade your stats and then begin a fresh session. You can rebirth multiple times, and each one stacks on the last, making the game progressively easier the more you do it.
| Rebirth requirement | reach Worm God level first, then the option becomes available. |
| Cost | in-game currency earned through normal play, including egg hatching. |
| Effect | permanent stat upgrades that apply from the very next session onward. |
| Repeatability | each additional rebirth adds another layer of upgrades on top of previous ones. |
Eggs, currency, and skins
StepEggs are placed around the map and hatch to give you in-game currency. That currency buys worm skins, which come with special visual effects. Skins change how your worm looks but do not affect your speed, size, or any other stat. Because eggs are a free source of currency, you can collect every skin and afford rebirths without paying anything.
- Search the map for eggs they are spread across the map rather than grouped in one place.
- Hatch each egg doing so gives you in-game currency directly.
- Spend currency on skins skins have special effects and are purely cosmetic.
- Save currency for rebirths too the same eggs fund both skins and permanent stat upgrades.

Common questions
FAQWhy did my level not save after a session?
Leaving a session before it ends properly can prevent that run's progress from being recorded. Let the session conclude on its own before you exit to make sure your level is saved correctly.
Does my worm get faster automatically, or do I have to do something?
Speed increases as your size grows, and size grows by eating people, so hunting consistently is all you need to do.
How much currency do I need before I rebirth?
You need to reach Worm God level first, and then spend in-game currency on the rebirth. Hatching eggs around the map is the way to earn that currency, so collect eggs throughout your sessions while you work toward Worm God.
