How the game works

Summary
In short The loop is simple: answer correctly to advance, answer wrong and the run ends.

Each round throws math questions at you one after another. Pick the right answer and you move on to the next question. Pick the wrong one and it's game over — you restart from the beginning. The difficulty climbs as you progress, so the early questions are straightforward while later ones get much harder.

  • Wrong answer the run ends immediately and you start over
  • Difficulty questions get harder the further you go
  • Question pool over 10,000 questions, so repeat runs rarely repeat questions
  • Cost to play the entire game is free with no paid advantages for anyone

Early-round habits that prevent mistakes

Tips
In short Slowing down in the easy rounds builds a rhythm that carries you through the harder ones.

The first questions use the four basic operations — addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Subtraction and division are where most early errors happen, so treat them with extra care even when they look easy.

Tips worth knowing
  • Keep a notepad next to you so you can write out any calculation you are not 100% sure about
  • When there are four or more answer choices, cross off the ones that are obviously wrong before deciding

Surviving harder questions

Check
In short When the questions get tougher, switching from mental math to written working is the single biggest improvement you can make.

Later questions introduce multiple calculation steps, fractions, and decimals.

  • Have you switched to writing the calculation on paper instead of doing it mentally?
  • Have you noticed a pattern in the questions you keep getting wrong, so you can drill that type?
  • If you have been playing for a long time, are you taking a short break fatigue causes calculation errors to spike

Elimination
A solving method where you rule out answer choices that are obviously wrong until you narrow down the correct one.
Mental math
Doing a calculation entirely in your head without writing anything down — useful early on but risky for complex questions.

Common questions

FAQ

Will I keep seeing the same questions over and over?

The game draws from more than 10,000 questions, so the chance of hitting the same one twice is very low. Almost every run will feel like new material.

Do I need to be good at math to enjoy this?

The game opens with simple questions, so anyone can get started regardless of their math level. Working through the harder questions over multiple runs will naturally sharpen your calculation skills.

Can I play with friends?

You can join the same server as a friend, but each player solves their own questions independently.
