How the two chapters fit together
SummaryThe game is split into two chapters that you play in order. Chapter 1 centers on Steak, while Chapter 2 introduces a different threat entirely. Clearing each chapter earns you a completion badge and pushes the story forward.
- Chapter 1 work through Steak's story until the chapter ends
- Chapter 2 a new enemy replaces Steak, so expect different behavior
- Nightmare segment appears during the story and leads to two separate badges depending on your choices
- Badges eighteen in total, spread across exploration, story progress, and optional actions
Surviving the enemies
WarnChapter 2 introduces a different creature from Steak, so the habits you built in Chapter 1 will not carry over cleanly. Getting caught by either enemy earns you a badge, but it also stops your progress.

Hidden objects and optional actions
StepA large portion of the eighteen badges are tied to things you can easily walk past. Two different DVDs can be found and played, a maid outfit is hidden somewhere in the game, and several characters and objects reward interaction. Splink's car is a special case — there is one badge for leaving it alone and a different badge for messing with it, so you cannot get both in the same playthrough.
- Find and play the SteakFan12 DVD
- Find and play The Prank DVD this is a separate disc, so you need to locate both
- Find the maid outfit
- Boop the seal's nose
- Pet Sugar or Fendi 25 times keep interacting with the same pet until the Best Friend badge appears
- Decide what to do with Splink's car pick one action per run, then replay to grab the other badge
Extra interactions worth trying
TipsBeyond the bigger hidden items, a handful of small interactions reward curious players.
- Flush Steak's poo after being told not to — doing the thing you were warned against earns a badge
- Eat the cookie trail in the hallway
- Turn the TV on
- The nightmare segment offers two outcomes: stop exploring early for the Lost badge, or witness as much as possible for the Insane badge

Common questions
FAQCan I get both of Splink's car badges in one playthrough?
No. One badge is for leaving the car alone and the other is for messing with it, so they require opposite actions.
How do I unlock both nightmare badges?
The Lost badge comes from stopping your exploration in the nightmare, while the Insane badge comes from witnessing as much as possible. Because the two outcomes contradict each other, you will need to go through the nightmare segment twice.
Is there any reason to get caught by the enemies?
Getting caught by Steak unlocks the Another Victim badge, and getting caught by the Chapter 2 enemy unlocks Victim of Another.
How many badges are there in total?
There are eighteen badges in total.
