Parents [HORROR] is a co-op horror escape game where Mom and Dad are on the prowl and your only goal is to slip out of the house without getting caught. This guide covers how to hide, how to revive, how to use coins, and how to take on Hard Mode once you have the basics down.
In shortEverything you do in this game points toward one exit — the outside of the house.
Mom and Dad are busy with their daily tasks, but they will still catch you if you are not careful. You need to distract them long enough to make a run for the door and escape.
Escape reach the outside of the house to clear the round
Dad one of two threats hunting you through the house
Mom the second threat; being caught by both at once is its own outcome
Dog a hazard beyond your parents that can bite you
Coins currency you collect during a run, used to unlock perks
In shortGetting caught is a setback, not a full stop — use your revival options and keep going.
You have two ways back into the fight: revive yourself, or call on a teammate to revive you. The dog can also take you down, so watch for it even when both parents seem far away.
Try the self-revive option before assuming you need help.
If you need help, ask a teammate to come to you.
Keep an eye out for the dogit is a separate danger from Mom and Dad.
05
Playing with others
Tips
In shortBringing friends — or just joining a busy server — makes escaping noticeably easier.
Up to 20 players can share one room. Playing with other players can help you win easier. Reviving downed teammates is also possible when someone is nearby.
Tips worth knowing
More players split the parents' attention across the house.
Reviving a friend and being revived by one each unlock separate badges.
06
Collecting and spending coins
Step
In shortCoins build up across every run, and spending them on perks unlocks new content.
Coins are collected during play. Badges mark the 100-coin, 500-coin, and 1,000-coin thresholds. There are also pet-related elements that coins can unlock.
