Getting started — your first two dinosaurs
StepWhen you join for the first time you already own both Albertadromeus and Dimetrodon, so you can play immediately. Albertadromeus is the stronger choice for new players: it has high speed, high health, and strong jump power, and its Beginner's Luck passive boosts all XP gain by 30%. Running the map and grabbing everything you see builds both your Fragment count and your Player Level at the same time.
- Pick Albertadromeus its Beginner's Luck passive stacks on top of every resource you collect and every quest you finish.
- Collect Fossils and Crystals as you pass them Fossils give 5 XP each and Crystals give 7.5 XP each, so they level you up fast.
- Seek out XP Flowers whenever you spot them each one rewards 40 XP, far more than any other single pickup.
- Open the Quest menu right away and select a quest the tracker shows above your Packs button while you play, so you can work toward its reward without changing how you move around.
- Check the Crystal Valley and Crystal Cavern when you need Crystals Crystal Valley has 9 crystals and 1 raw amber, and the Cavern has 13 crystals, though the Cavern requires careful parkour over lava.
Resources — what they are and how to get them
TableThere are eleven resource types in Wodac. The table below shows the main ways to obtain each one and what it is primarily used for.
| Resource | Main way to get it | Primary use |
|---|---|---|
| Fragments | Passive gain, breaking resources, quests, Loot Crates | Almost every purchase and crafting recipe |
| Fossils | Break fossils on the map, quests, craft (100 fragments → 1 fossil) | Purchases, crafting, tier unlocks |
| Crystals | Break crystals on the map, quests, Loot Crates | Tier unlocks and crafting |
| Raw Amber | Break raw amber on the map, quests | Crafting Amber |
| Amber | Craft (1500 fragments + 20 fossils + 1 raw amber), quests | Upgrading skills and Dinosaur Mastery |
| Resin | Collect in the Jungle, craft (3 hunting flowers + 1 amber + 30 fossils + 10 crystals) | Tier 3 unlock, expensive recipes; consumed for a 5-minute +50% fragment boost |
| Growth Flowers | Pick up around the map, quests | Instantly boost your dinosaur's age |
| Hunting Flowers | Pick up at specific spots, quests | Recipes, dinosaur unlocks; used to enhance scent range for 60 seconds |
| Spirits | Kill players at 76%+ growth (small = 1, medium = 2, large = 3) | Crafting and unlocking certain dinosaurs |
| Celestial Cross | Craft (5 spirits + 2500 fragments + 50 growth flowers + 1 amber + 15 crystals) | Reduces growth and day loss on death |
| Essence | Craft (2 spirits + 1000 fragments + 1 hunting flower + 1 raw amber + 5 crystals + 5 fossils + 5 hunting flowers), quests | Crafting Special Playables such as T-Rex |
Player level milestones worth knowing
CheckYour Player Level determines which dinosaurs you can access, independent of tier purchases. Reaching level 50 is the maximum and awards the Master title as well as the Master of Wodac badge. If you own the +50% XP gamepass, the bonus applies to both Player Level and Dinosaur Mastery.
- Level 5 Oviraptor (Tier 1) becomes available.
- Level 15 completes the Recruit achievement, rewarding 1 amber and 2 skill points.
- Level 20 Avimimus (Tier 1) becomes available.
- Level 25 Chasmosaurus (Tier 2) unlocks and you earn the Wodacian title.
- Level 35 Tarbosaurus (Tier 3) and the Special Machine both unlock.
- Level 50 maximum level reached; awards the Master title and the Master of Wodac badge.
Unlocking Tier 2 and Tier 3
TableTiers are purchased outright and give you access to a new roster of dinosaurs. Tier 2 opens seven mid-sized dinosaurs. Tier 3 opens four large, powerful dinosaurs but requires Resin, the rarest resource in the game, which only spawns naturally in the Jungle.
| Tier 2 cost | 9500 fragments, 50 fossils, 65 crystals |
| Tier 2 dinosaurs | Dilophosaurus, Allosaurus, Baryonyx, Chasmosaurus, Moschops, Miragaia, Carnotaurus |
| Tier 3 cost | 32500 fragments, 100 fossils, 100 crystals, 3 resins |
| Tier 3 dinosaurs | Parasaurolophus, Ankylosaurus, Tarbosaurus, Turiasaurus |
| Resin source | found in the Jungle biome (east island) or crafted from 3 hunting flowers + 1 amber + 30 fossils + 10 crystals |
Quests worth selecting

Titles to aim for and how to earn them
StepTitles are cosmetic labels shown above your dinosaur. Open the settings menu and click Show Titles to equip one. There are seven obtainable titles. A kill only counts toward combat titles if the player you defeat is at 76% growth or above.
- Wodacian reach player level 25.
- Master reach player level 50 (the maximum); also awards the Master of Wodac badge.
- Wealthy Wodacian accumulate 1 million fragments at any point; spending them back down afterward does not remove the title.
- Warrior kill a total of 100 players at 76%+ growth; also earns the Master of Combat badge.
- Terminator kill a total of 500 players at 76%+ growth.
- Adventurer complete 50 quests in total.
- True Wodacian reach level 50, fully master every dinosaur, complete all achievements, and own all other titles except Wealthy Wodacian; resets whenever a new dinosaur is added to the game.
Codes and the Alien Egg
TipsTo redeem a code, open Settings in-game and click Codes in the top right corner. Some codes are open to everyone; others require you to be a member of the official Wodac group on Roblox. Codes are added around updates and milestones and can expire.
- Group-only codes — iwantCrystals gives 10 crystals; 5000Members gives 1 resin and 1 celestial cross.
- Codes available to anyone — Questin' gives 500 fragments, 5 fossils, and 5 crystals; 2MillionVisits gives 1000 fragments, 15 fossils, and 1 amber; 3MillionVisits gives 1500 fragments, 15 fossils, and 1 amber.
- The Alien Egg is a black, blue, and purple egg that spawns randomly across the map, with a 10% spawn chance every 5 minutes and a 15-minute lifespan before it disappears.
- The first time you collect an Alien Egg you receive the Alien Albertadromeus skin; any egg you collect after that gives 1000 fragments instead.
- Alien Eggs can also appear in private servers.

Common questions
FAQWhich dinosaur should I use when I first start?
Albertadromeus is the best choice. You own it from your very first login, and its Beginner's Luck passive gives you 30% extra XP on every resource you pick up. Its high speed and stamina also make it easy to escape danger while you are still learning the map.
How do I get the Master of Combat badge?
You need to kill a total of 100 players, but only kills against dinosaurs at 76% growth or above count. Your Spirit total is not the same as your kill total. Earning the badge also awards the Warrior title.
Why does Tier 3 take so long to unlock?
Tier 3 requires 3 Resins alongside a large amount of fragments, fossils, and crystals. Resin is the rarest resource in the game and only spawns naturally in the Jungle biome on the east island. You can also craft it, but the recipe costs 1 amber, 3 hunting flowers, 30 fossils, and 10 crystals per Resin.
What happens if a player claims to be a staff member?
Real staff members — Moderators and Testers — have their role displayed as a title above their dinosaur in-game. Ask anyone claiming to be staff to show you their title. If they cannot, do not trust them.
Do I lose the Wealthy Wodacian title if I spend my fragments below one million?
No. Once you have accumulated 1 million fragments at any point the title is yours permanently, even if your current total drops below that amount afterward.
