Step

  1. Try moving walk around using WASD.
  2. Jump a few times press Space to jump, and notice how far and high your character goes on flat ground.
  3. Practise mouse-look move the mouse to spin the camera around and get a feel for what is ahead and below you.

Pushing through hard stages

Tips
In short Falling is part of the game, so use every attempt to learn one more thing about the jump you are stuck on.

You can restart after every fall. The obstacle course stages get harder as you go.

Tips worth knowing
  • If a section keeps beating you, focus on just that one platform rather than trying to race past it.
  • The stages are laid out in a single path, so if you can't see the next step, look around from where you are standing rather than guessing.
03

The shop and power-ups

Summary
In short Power-ups are a genuine option when a stage is grinding you down, but the game is designed so you never need them.

The developer has said that simply playing is just as meaningful as buying anything, so there is no pressure attached to the shop at all.

  • Purpose power-ups make stages easier to clear.
  • Requirement none; the game is completable without any purchases.
04

The grandma and the horror side of the game

Warn

The game has a horror theme built around an evil grandma, but the scares are mild rather than intense.

Worth watching out for
When something spooky happens, keep moving and keep jumping the controls do not change.
If the horror elements genuinely bother you, the difficulty is low enough that you can get through each stage quickly.
05

Extending your play after the first clear

Tips

Once you have made it through all the stages, the game still has more to offer if you want it.

Tips worth knowing
  • Try completing the whole run without buying any power-ups.
  • Join the Decent Obbies group to get early notice of future obby and parkour games from the same developer.

Common questions

FAQ

Is the horror actually scary?

The game has horror elements — grandma acts in unsettling ways and some areas are dark and atmospheric — but the scares are mild. The main challenge is always the obstacle course itself, not the horror presentation.

Do I need to spend money to reach the end?

No. The developer has stated that buying nothing at all is a completely valid way to finish every stage. The shop is there if you want help, not because you need it.
