How the game works

Summary
In short Your color changes each round, so the first thing you do at the start of every round is check which color you have been given.

At the start of each round you are assigned a color. Standing next to a wall of that same color keeps you safe from the monster. Step away from it onto the wrong color and the monster can come for you. Your goal is to find every color hidden across the stage and then reach the exit zone. Fail and the next round starts straight away — there is no penalty for dying, so you can keep trying.

  • Color assigned check yours the moment the round begins.
  • Safe wall standing next to your color wall is your refuge whenever the monster is near.
  • Colors to collect scattered around the stage; you need all of them before the exit opens.
  • Exit zone the finish line you head for once every color is collected.
  • Monster chases players who are away from a matching wall.
  • Round reset dying sends you straight into the next round with no lasting penalty.

Playing with a group

Tips
In short Groups find colors faster when players report locations in chat and avoid bunching up on the same wall.

The game supports multiplayer. Coordination does not need to be serious — even a quick message in chat about a color location saves the whole group time.

Tips worth knowing
  • Call out in chat when you find a color so others can skip hunting that area.
  • Spread across different safe walls instead of crowding one spot.
  • Share the route to the exit once someone has found a clear path to it.
  • Treat deaths as part of the fun — the round restarts quickly and the group gets another go together.

Common questions

FAQ

What do I do if I can't find a color?

Search corners and the far ends of corridors. If you are playing with others, ask in chat whether anyone has already spotted it.

Does the monster follow a fixed path?

The monster chases players rather than running a set route.

Can I finish the game solo?

Yes, every stage can be completed alone. Playing with others means more people calling out color locations, but solo play is fully supported.

Later stages add more colors to collect and more complex maze layouts. The core rules stay the same throughout.

What happens when the monster catches me?

You are sent to the next round immediately with no lasting penalty.
