Getting into the suit
Step
When you first load in, you are out of the suit and cannot use any of the special controls. Hit G to call the suit and put it on. Once you are suited up, all the weapon and flight keys become active.
- Call the suit press G to become Iron Man and unlock the rest of the controls.
- Try your main weapon press E to fire the Repulsor and get a feel for its range.
- Try your secondary press Q to switch to the secondary weapon and fire it once so you know how it behaves.
- Get off the ground press F to hover and test the feeling of floating before committing to full flight.
- Accelerate hold Left Shift while moving to speed up and cover ground quickly.

Fighting in the air
Tips
Air combat is the heart of the game. The suit lets you adjust your altitude and speed on the fly, which means you can dictate how every fight plays out.
- Use W to speed toward a target and S to brake and hold your position once you are in firing range.
- Hold Left Shift to close distance fast when an enemy tries to flee.
- Tap B for supersonic flight when you need to reposition quickly.
- Pop flares with V when you are taking heavy fire — they are specifically there to help you dodge incoming attacks.
- If multiple enemies surround you, switch to hover with F to buy time and pick your next move.
Suit management mid-fight
Check
Your suit has a few management options that are easy to forget under pressure.
- If the suit is behaving badly, press X to destroy it and call a fresh one with G.
- Use M to toggle the faceplate.
- Hold M to change the helmet display.
- Press N to eject from the suit when you need to activate sentry mode with K.
- After ejecting, press K to turn on sentry mode so the suit defends the area automatically while you are out of it.
Exploring the open world
