How luck actually works
SummaryEvery time you set your pan down to dig, the game rolls a random number. A lower number means a rarer item. Each point of luck you have causes that number to be rerolled, and the lowest result across all rolls is the one that counts. Because of this, luck has a built-in dampener that can weaken or skip the bonus for individual items, which is why you can still walk away with several common finds even at very high luck. What matters is your luck stat at the moment you place your pan, not at any other point.
- Luck points each point adds one extra reroll; the lowest roll wins.
- Dampener the game can reduce or cancel luck on a single item so commons stay obtainable.
- Flat sources equipment and certain quests add a direct luck value, not a multiplier.
- Additive multipliers codes, events, daily rewards, and friends in your server all add together first.
- Friends bonus each friend in your server adds +0.1x luck, up to a maximum of +0.5x.
- Meteor Shower this event multiplies your combined luck total by 2x on top of everything else.
Stacking luck multipliers
TableAll your luck multipliers except the Meteor Shower are added together first. For example, a 2x boost from a totem plus a 1.5x boost from five friends gives you 2.5x total. If a Meteor Shower is active at the same time, that combined figure is then doubled, bringing the same setup to 5x. Friending someone who is already in your server does not grant the bonus immediately — one of you needs to relog for it to register.
| Totem 2x + 5 friends 1.5x, no Meteor Shower | 2.5x total |
| Totem 2x + 5 friends 1.5x, Meteor Shower active | 5x total |
| Code 2x + daily reward 2x + 2 friends 1.2x, no Meteor Shower | 3.2x total |
| Code 2x + daily reward 2x + 2 friends 1.2x, Meteor Shower active | 6.4x total |
Events running now or coming soon. They have fixed dates, so check them first.

Common questions
FAQDoes it matter where I am standing when luck kicks in?
Yes — luck applies the moment you set your pan down to dig, not when you walk around or at any earlier point. If you want a luck totem to count, make sure you place your pan within its area. Your luck multiplier at any other time during a run does not matter.
Why am I still getting common items even with high luck?
The game intentionally weakens or skips the luck bonus for individual item rolls so that common items never become impossible to find. This is working as intended, not a bug. Even with very high luck you will occasionally walk away with a string of common results.
I just friended someone in my server — why is the friend bonus not showing up?
Friending a player who is already in your server does not trigger the bonus on its own. One of you needs to relog for the game to register the friendship and apply the +0.1x luck boost. After that relog it should work normally.
