How a match works

Step
In short Every match follows the same loop: place units, survive the wave, collect rewards, and repeat.

Enemies come at you in waves, and your job is to wipe them out before they get through. Clearing a wave pays out gold and resources, which you spend on making your units stronger before the next wave hits.

  1. Place units set them along both sides of the enemy path and at chokepoints.
  2. Survive the wave hold the line until every enemy in the current wave is eliminated.
  3. Collect rewards after each cleared wave, take in the gold and other resources the game hands out.

Three ways to strengthen a unit

Summary
In short Level-ups, enchants, and merges all stack, so using all three together makes units far stronger than any one method alone.

Your units have three separate upgrade paths, and none of them cancel the others out.

  • Level-up spend gold to raise a unit's core stats step by step.
  • Enchant attach a special ability to a unit.
  • Merge combine two identical units into a single, more powerful version with new capabilities.
