Core rules of the game
Step
In short
Every turn connects directly to the last letter of the previous word, and no word can be repeated.
The first player says any word. Every player after that must say a new word beginning with the final letter of whatever was just said. Repeating a word that has already been used is not allowed. Speed and variety are both rewarded, so the faster and more creative you are, the better you do.
- Listen for the last letter that single letter is your only starting point for your answer.
- Say your word quickly speed is one of the things that determines who wins.
- Keep track of words already used repeating one breaks the rules.

Certain letters make it much harder to think of a word on the spot. Watching what other players say and remembering those words for later is one of the fastest ways to improve.

The game awards badges as your Index grows. The milestones give you a clear sense of long-term progress and a reason to keep playing even after you know the rules well.

Mid-range targets
3,000, 5,000, and 10,000 words.
Advanced targets
15,000, 20,000, 25,000, and 30,000 words.
Top-tier targets
40,000, 50,000, 65,000, 80,000, and finally 100,000 words.
