First Is Owner — How ownership works
About
OverviewFirst Is Owner is a Roblox game where the first player to join a public server automatically becomes the Owner, gaining commands and tools to run the server however they like. Everyone else can still rise to Owner by reaching Position 1 or waiting for the current Owner to leave.

How ownership works
SummaryThe first player to join a public server becomes the Owner and holds all admin powers for as long as they stay. The moment the Owner leaves, the role passes automatically to whichever remaining player joined earliest. This chain continues every time someone leaves, so anyone in the server can eventually reach the top. Even if you were not first, you can still become Owner by climbing to Position 1.
What to do as Owner
TipsOnce you hold the Owner role, commands and btools are yours to use. Assigning ranks to players, setting a custom server text, and hosting creative events all make sessions more memorable.
- Set a server text to let new arrivals know the vibe or rules — it also earns the Setting Things Up badge.
- Use commands and btools to shape the server environment.
- Assign players special roles so they feel included; ranking someone earns the Sharing Power badge.
- Spend coins on troll items to run fun events — earning the Golden Gun requires buying it from the shop.
- Stay chill and use your abilities appropriately; be respectful to others.
Earning and spending coins
CheckCoins accumulate as you play. Reaching 100 coins earns the Not Broke badge, and a coin storm event rewards everyone on the server at once. Private servers double your coin earnings compared to public ones. The Golden Gun is a purchasable item in the shop.
- Hit 100 coins to unlock the Not Broke badge
- Taken part in a coin storm for a fast burst of currency
- Private server doubles coin income
- Saved enough to buy the Golden Gun and earn the Midas badge
Maps and rare locations
TableEach distinct map has its own badge.
| The House | classic themed map |
| Headquarters | rare map with its own badge on discovery |
| The Castle | rarer still |
| Sanctuary | rarer, another badge for players who find it |
Behavior that gets you banned
WarnThe game explicitly states that exploiting, building inappropriate structures, and crashing will result in a permanent ban. This applies whether you are the Owner or a regular player. If you witness someone breaking these rules, use the in-server report feature.

Common questions
FAQWhat happens to the Owner role when the Owner leaves?
It passes automatically to whichever remaining player joined the server earliest. That player then holds all Owner powers until they leave, at which point the role moves down the line again.
Can I become Owner if I was not the first to join?
Yes. Climbing to Position 1 in the server's ranking gives you ownership even if someone else joined before you. You can also simply wait — every time the current Owner leaves, the role moves one step down.
Are private servers worth playing on?
Private servers double the coins you earn and include a powerful secret rank that public servers do not offer.
What should I do if the current Owner is making the server unpleasant?
Switching to a different public server is the quickest fix. If the behaviour crosses into genuine rulebreaking — exploiting, crashing, or building inappropriate structures — use the in-server report tool.
