Your first few minutes
StepWhen you join for the first time you receive a shovel at no cost, which lets you clear your plot. From there the loop is simple: plant, wait, harvest, sell. Doing this earns shillings, which you spend on better seeds and gear.
- Plant a seed to earn the Green Thumb badge.
- Wait for growth ripening moves through three stages: Unripe, Ripened, and Lush, with Lush giving the best sell price.
- Harvest collect the crop once it has grown; this counts toward the Reaper badge chain.
- Sell at the shop trade your harvest for shillings, the main currency used for everything in the game.
- Log in daily the Daily Rewards system resets if you miss a day, so consistent logins are the easiest way to get free seeds and gear.
How weather and mutations change your crops
TipsWeather changes every five minutes and each event can randomly attach a mutation to one of your growing plants. Mutations stack multiplicatively on top of the base price and the ripening multiplier, so a single rare mutation can multiply what a crop sells for by several times.
- Rain events can apply Soaked (1.2x) or Flooded (1.75x).
- Snowstorm events can give Chilled (1.5x) or Snowy (2.0x), but a single crop cannot hold both at once.
- Storm events can apply Shocked (4.5x), and Starfall events can apply Starstruck (6.5x).
- Foggy (1.25x) and Chilled (1.5x) automatically combine into Mossy (3.5x) on the same crop, replacing both.
- Sandy (2.5x) and Flooded (1.75x) combine into Muddy (5.0x), and Soaked plus Snowy combine into Frostbit (3.5x).

- Week 2 (days 8–14) includes Apple and Banana seeds alongside two Basic Sprinklers and ten Streak Seed Packs.

Glossary
Glossary- Shillings
- The main in-game currency, earned by selling harvested crops and used to buy seeds and gear.
- Ripening
- The three-stage growth process — Unripe, Ripened, and Lush — where each stage increases a crop's sell value, with Lush giving the highest multiplier of 3.0x.
- Mutation
- A bonus applied to a growing crop that multiplies its final sell value; mutations come from weather events, gear, or random chance.
- Variant mutation
- A mutation such as Gold (5.0x) or Silver (2.0x) that can appear by chance during normal growth, independent of weather.
- Combination mutation
- A mutation formed when two compatible weather mutations land on the same crop — for example, Foggy plus Chilled becomes Mossy (3.5x).
- Single-harvest plant
- A plant that can only be harvested once before it is gone, such as Bamboo; sprinklers must be placed before planting to affect fruit size.
- Multi-harvest plant
- A plant that continues producing fruit after each harvest without needing to be replanted.
- Daily Rewards
- A login streak system that gives progressively better items each day across a four-week track, resetting to day one if you miss a day.
Common questions
FAQHow do I get mutations more consistently?
Mutations from weather events land randomly on whichever plants are currently growing, so the more plants you have in the ground at once, the more chances there are for a mutation to appear.
When should I place a sprinkler?
For multi-harvest plants you can place a sprinkler at any point before you harvest the current fruits. For single-harvest plants like Bamboo or Cabbage, the sprinkler must be placed before you plant the seed, or it will have no effect on fruit size.
What happens if I miss a day on the Daily Rewards track?
Missing even one day resets the entire streak back to day one of week one.
