About

Overview

Parasite.exe is a Roblox simulator where you create parasites, release them into a test lab, and watch them grow, spread, and infect other organisms. This guide walks you through picking your first parasite, understanding what happens in the lab, fighting other players in 1v1 matches, and making progress through contracts.

Getting started in the lab

Step
In short Picking a preset and releasing it into the lab is everything you need to do to get the game moving.

The game drops you into a test chamber and asks you to choose a parasite preset before anything else happens. Once you release it, the parasite acts on its own — you just watch and experiment from there.

  1. Choose a preset pick a parasite type from the available presets to generate your first organism.
  2. Release it send the parasite into the test chamber and let it start growing on its own.
  3. Watch the behaviour each parasite type has its own patterns for spreading, evolving, and infecting other organisms.
  4. Try the extras experiment with destruction, doors, and mutations to see how your parasite reacts.

What parasites actually do

Tips
In short No two parasites grow the same way, so experimenting with different presets is the core loop.

After you release a parasite, it starts acting independently inside the lab. Some spread across the chamber, some evolve into stranger forms, and some become uncontrollable. The growing animation added in Update 8 makes it easier to follow what your parasite is doing at each stage.

Tips worth knowing
  • Some parasites evolve on their own without any input from you.
  • Others focus on spreading and infecting organisms already inside the lab.
  • A few will grow in ways that are completely unpredictable.
03

Contracts and progression

Summary
In short Contracts give you structured goals, added in Update 8.

Contracts were introduced alongside the 1v1 mode in Update 8. They give you specific targets to complete in exchange for rewards.

  • Purpose contracts give directed goals on top of the open-ended lab experimentation.
  • Rewards completing a contract earns you in-game rewards.

Common questions

FAQ

How does a 1v1 match work?

You bring a parasite and face off against another player's parasite.

Why does my parasite stop behaving the way I expect?

Every parasite has its own behaviour patterns, and mutations can change those patterns during a run. Some parasites are described as becoming completely uncontrollable, so treat unexpected behaviour as part of the experiment.
