How to get started

Step
In short Learning the basics in the earliest floors makes everything after much easier.

When you first load in, pay attention to where enemies enter and where they're heading. Your job is to place defenses along their path before the next wave arrives. Each floor you clear unlocks the next, and the difficulty climbs as you go.

  1. Join the game you earn the 1 Stage badge just for connecting, so you're already on the board.
  2. Survive the wave either wipe out every enemy or meet whatever the floor's clear condition asks.
  3. Move to the next floor floors 2 through 9 each have their own badge, so reaching them marks real progress.

Special floors and badge challenges

Warn
In short Some floors have extra rules that will catch you off guard if you're not expecting them.

Most floors follow the standard wave format, but two floors in particular have hidden conditions tied to their badges.

Worth watching out for
Floor 99 can be completed without any lights the badge for doing so expects exactly that.
Floor 101 has a password mechanic, but you can finish the floor without checking the password order at all that's what the badge for it rewards.
Event floors like the Christmas, Halloween, and anniversary stages are separate from the main tower and require clearing their own objectives.
