What the screen is showing you
CheckThe interface packs a lot in. The restaurant's star rating sits just below the in-game clock at the top. The clock runs on 24-hour time, so 13:00 means 1 PM. Down in the bottom-left you can see your currency, your rank, and your current energy level at a glance.
- Star meter below the clock shows your restaurant's current rating
- Bills / Bank chart inside the restaurant tells you if bankruptcy is getting close
- Energy bar in the bottom-left low energy slows your character down
- Recipes button at the top open it any time you forget how to make a dish
- Locator button on the right helps track down missing utensils
- Earnings multiplier at the bottom shows how much each order pays out

Getting through your first shift
StepThe restaurant begins on day 0 each time a new server starts. Customers arrive and place orders, and your job is to cook and serve those dishes to earn currency and ranking points. Keep an eye on the bills chart on the restaurant wall — once bills exceed the bank, the kitchen shuts down and the server resets to day 0.
- Check the Recipes button open it to see what ingredients each dish needs
- Organize the kitchen an organized kitchen makes it easier to find needed utensils and appliances
- Cook and serve customers only accept food served in deep plates, plates, bowls, cups, or mugs, so always plate up before handing anything over
- Use the mop and the cleaning cloth to keep a five-star rating you need the mop for spills and the cleaning cloth for windows
- Watch the bills chart if bills exceed the bank, the kitchen clears itself and the server resets to day 0
Saving time in the kitchen
TipsMost of the time lost in a shift comes from small habits that feel right but are actually slower.
- Salt and most other seasonings do not affect whether a customer gives full stars — the one exception is sugar on Candied Apple, which you do need to include
- Exact measurements for liquids and ingredients are not required; as long as all the required ingredients are present, customers will still give a full five-star rating
- Drinking coffee restores energy faster than sitting on the couch; you can also drink coffee while wiping the window
- The stove, oven, and deep fryer all cook at the same speed, so use whichever suits you
- The blender yields 400 ml, enough for four servings, while the boiling pot yields 500 ml for five
- Store finished food in the fridge to keep it from being discarded or taken by other players, and to keep the floor clear
Managing energy and avoiding bankruptcy
WarnEnergy controls how fast your character walks. Bankruptcy is the game-over condition — when bills exceed the bank the kitchen clears itself and the server resets.
Hats, crates, and ranking up
StepAll players start at rank 1. Completing actions in the restaurant earns ranking points. Higher ranks unlock currency rewards and chef hats. Hats can also come from crates bought through the menu.

Common questions
FAQDo I need to match exact measurements to get five stars from customers?
No. As long as every required ingredient for a recipe is present, customers will award a full five-star rating regardless of the exact amounts. The one situation where the ingredient itself matters is sugar on Candied Apple, which you do need to include.
How do I get five stars for the restaurant's overall rating?
You also need to mop the floor and use the cleaning cloth on the windows. The cleaning cloth is for windows only — spills on the floor do not affect the rating.
Can I play alone?
Yes — select Solo from the server list when you join. Solo is the same as Normal but only one player is allowed.
What happens if the restaurant goes bankrupt?
Once bills exceed the bank balance, the kitchen clears itself and the server resets back to day 0. Bills do not actually deduct from your personal currency or remove your ingredients before that point.
