About

Overview

FD6 - The Skyview Experience drops you into the top floor of Skyview Tower in 1968, just as the building begins to collapse around you. Inspired by Final Destination: Bloodlines, it is a retro horror escape game where you survive one disaster after another. This guide covers how to get out alive, where the danger spikes, and how to hunt down all 15 badges.

The two escape routes

Table
In short Knowing both routes before you need them lets you switch on the fly when one gets cut off.

Two confirmed paths lead out of the tower. Neither is always available — the state of the building determines which one you can reach.

Death events to watch for

Warn
In short Each death event has a tell — once you have seen it once, you will recognise it fast enough to dodge it next time.

The game is built around learning from failure. Several distinct events can kill you across different floors, and your first run is mostly a lesson in where they happen.

Worth watching out for
The dance floor collapses beneath you.
The ceiling in the lounge drops.
Explosions hit the lounge in two separate ways the initial blast and a gas explosion are different events.
The elevator door can slam into you in the lobby.
Holding onto loose concrete after the full structural collapse leads to a fall.

All 15 badges and how to approach them

Tips
In short Most badges reward you for doing something you would normally avoid, so experimentation is the whole point.

Surviving is only one way to play. Many badges come from deliberate choices to stay, explore, or let a disaster catch you.

Tips worth knowing
  • Let the dance floor drop you instead of escaping it — that is its own badge.
  • Watch the piano cinematic all the way through rather than running past it.
  • Try standing under the piano rather than watching it.
  • Stay in the first-floor lounge and enjoy the atmosphere instead of fleeing.
  • Jump through the lounge window rather than using a conventional exit.
  • After the wind event at the lookout, search for the lady's hat that blew away — finding it is a separate badge.
  • Starting on September 1 and picking up a welcome ticket at the entrance unlocks the 1st Anniversary badge before the event ends.

Common questions

FAQ

How do I get the badge for finding the hat at the lookout?

Reach the lookout level and search the area after the wind event has passed. The lady's hat is somewhere nearby after being blown away, and picking it up awards the Newton's Apple badge.

Can I get the 1st Anniversary badge at any time?

Only if you play from September 1 onward and the celebration is still running. Grab a welcome ticket at the entrance as soon as you load in — the badge is tied to that ticket and the event window.
