Your first few minutes

Step
In short Learn the basics in the starting area before pushing further out.

When you join, do not rush to the far areas straight away. Find your base and note where it is, because you will need to get back there fast when a wave comes. Start by grabbing one Brainrot from close by, returning it to your base, and placing it down to start earning money.

  1. Locate your base memorise where your safe zone is before you step out onto the course.
  2. Wait for a gap in the waves only run out when the water has passed.
  3. Grab one nearby Brainrot do not be greedy on your first run; one safe return beats a failed long run.
  4. Place it on your base a Brainrot sitting in your inventory earns nothing; it must be placed.
  5. Upgrade Speed and Carry from the Upgrade Shop using in-game money.

How waves work and how to dodge them

Warn
In short One touch from a wave kills you instantly, so knowing how to read them and where to hide is the most important skill in the game.

Any wave kills you the moment it touches you. If you are carrying a Brainrot when that happens, it drops exactly where you died — another player can pick it up. There are different types of waves in the game. During events, special wave patterns like Snakey or Wacky can appear. Other players can also spend Robux to summon a Beast wave against the lobby.

Worth watching out for
Stand in the gap between two areas when a wave is coming and wait for the wave to pass let the water go over you safely.
If a Beast wave is called, head for the nearest gap immediately.

Upgrading your Brainrots and base

Tips
In short Upgrading placed Brainrots and expanding your base slots directly increases how much money you earn every second.

Once a Brainrot is on your base, click the button beside it to level it up. Each level raises its income per second, and holding the button lets you upgrade many times quickly. Your base has a limited number of slots, so click the sign next to your base to buy more when they fill up — you can only do this as many times as your current Rebirth level allows. You can also upgrade Speed, Jumps, and Carry from the Upgrade Shop using in-game money, or with Robux if you are short.

Tips worth knowing
  • Hold the upgrade button to level up quickly rather than clicking one at a time.
  • Buy more base slots as soon as your current ones are full, otherwise new Brainrots have nowhere to go.
  • Keep an eye on your Rebirth level because it sets the ceiling on how many base upgrades you can buy and how high you can push Brainrot levels.
05

Rebirth and why it matters

Check
In short Rebirthing resets your Speed but permanently raises your money multiplier and raises the cap on how far you can upgrade everything.

When you hit a wall, check whether you are ready to Rebirth. Open the Rebirth menu to see the requirements. Meeting them normally resets your Speed to its starting value, but your Brainrots and other upgrades stay with you. Every Rebirth up to the twentieth adds a 0.5x multiplier to your income; past twenty, each one adds 0.25x. Higher Rebirth levels also let you upgrade your Brainrots to higher maximum levels and buy more base slots.

  • Check the requirements in the Rebirth menu, or use Robux to skip them the Robux path also lets you keep your current Speed.
  • Remember that a normal Rebirth resets Speed, so budget for re-buying Speed upgrades after.
  • Rebirth also raises the level cap on your Brainrots, so higher-Rebirth players can push characters further.
06

Lucky Blocks

Tips
In short Lucky Blocks are a key way to get the rarest Brainrots, including Divine and Infinity rarities that never appear on the open course.

Lucky Blocks show up on the course the same way regular Brainrots do. Pick one up, carry it back to your base, and click anywhere on the screen (not on a button) to open it. Wait for the animation to finish and the reward Brainrot is added to your inventory. The rarity of the block matches the rarity of the Brainrot inside. Divine and Infinity Brainrots do not appear on the open course at all, so Lucky Blocks are one of the only routes to them. Celestial and Divine Brainrots can appear during Brainrot Frenzy events.

Tips worth knowing
  • Carry a Lucky Block back to base quickly — another player can grab it if you drop it.
  • Celestial and Divine Brainrots can appear during Brainrot Frenzy events, so stay alert when one starts.
  • The Radioactive Event runs roughly once an hour and gives you a chance at mutated Brainrots from a special spin.
07

Common reasons you stop progressing

Check
In short Most progression blocks come down to Speed being too low or not having enough Carry and base slots.

If you feel stuck, work through this list. The fix is usually one of the first few items.

  • Check that your Carry count is high enough carrying only one Brainrot per trip makes money accumulate slowly.
  • Check that placed Brainrots are being upgraded the higher the Brainrot level, the higher the income per second.
  • Check that your base has open slots a full base means new Brainrots have nowhere to go and income stalls.
  • Check whether a Rebirth is available the income multiplier from a Rebirth can break through an earning plateau.

Common questions

FAQ

What happens when a wave hits me?

You die instantly and respawn near your base. Any Brainrot you were carrying drops at the exact spot where you died, and another player can pick it up. Brainrots already placed on your base and any money you have earned are not lost.

When should I Rebirth?

Rebirth when you have met the requirements shown in the Rebirth menu. Each Rebirth raises your permanent income multiplier. You can also Rebirth using Robux to skip the requirements, which also lets you keep your current Speed.

How do I get Divine or Infinity Brainrots?

Divine Brainrots do not drop on the open course. You can get them from Lucky Blocks or the Spawn Machine. Infinity Brainrots can only come from Infinity Lucky Blocks.

Can other players steal my Brainrots?

A player cannot take a Brainrot from your base, but if you die while carrying one it drops on the course and anyone can grab it. Lucky Blocks dropped on the course can also be taken by someone else before you reach them, so carry them back quickly.
