Getting started in the city

Step
In short Spend your first few minutes near the spawn area learning the controls before pushing into more dangerous parts of the map.

When you join, you land straight in the action. The Mall is the only spawn location and doubles as a safe spot — any NPC that tries to follow you inside will be killed automatically. Use that breathing room to grab a weapon and get comfortable before heading out.

  1. Use safe spots to recover the Mall, MorseDonalds, the Groove, the Elevator Building, and the Lab all heal you on entry.
  2. Check the map a map is posted inside the Mall so you can plan where to explore next.
  3. Rack up kills every NPC you drop adds to your kill count, which is the core loop of the game.

NPC threats and how to handle them

Tips
In short Know each enemy's quirks before you close the distance, because several of them hit much harder than they look.

The city is packed with enemies that behave very differently from one another. Some rush you instantly, some telegraph a devastating attack with a long wind-up, and some take special weapons to bring down efficiently.

Tips worth knowing
  • Ballers have only 50 HP but spot you from a long way off and close the gap very fast — one solid hit drops them.
  • Cosmonoid has 9000 HP and opens with an innocent-looking dance before launching a wide roundhouse kick that deals around 70 damage and knocks you into other NPCs — stay outside that range while he dances.
  • The Cosmonoid's attack comes out even if you stagger or launch him.
  • Captain Crazybeard has over 10,000 HP and is highly resistant to the Blunderbuss, but headshots still hurt him — aim for the head and expect to land two to four Blunderbuss headshots to finish him.
  • Redcoats have 115 HP and can be taken down with any weapon, though they make no sound when they spot you so keep your eyes moving.
  • Chicken has 200 HP and Corrupted Chicken has 500 HP — both attack instantly with a big range, so RPG spam is effective at keeping them stunlocked.

Weapons worth knowing about

Table
In short A handful of weapons stand out well above the rest.

The game splits weapons into ranged, melee, gamepass, and unlockable categories. Most ranged guns come from the Mall armoury. Melee unlockables require specific badges or a substitute gamepass to access.

Nuke Launcherfound in the Military Zone tent behind the code 9349.
Blunderbussthe most powerful shotgun available, with piercing shots and massive damage; best weapon for boss encounters despite its slow reload.
A-1 Cucumber Guna 100 Robux gamepass weapon with a massive blast radius.
Chainsawa 150 Robux gamepass melee that hits three times per swipe.
RPGuseful for stunlocking certain NPCs; also lets you rocket-jump to reach high or hard-to-reach places.
Shovelobtained by stealing it from the sleeping worker at the top of the construction site; equipping it and collecting four unique signatures from nearby players using the inspect button earns you the Make Change badge.

Reaching the Nuke Launcher in the Military Zone

Step
In short The Nuke Launcher is hidden in the Military Zone and requires a careful approach to retrieve.

The Military Zone sits east of spawn and is defended by Special Forces and soldiers. Bring at least an RPG, a Morseconsin 1834, a Super Shotgun, and a Blunderbuss before you attempt this. The weapon itself is an upgraded version of the RPG with far greater damage.

  1. Bug out the sniper before entering, shoot the sniper on the left watchtower a few times to break his AI so he can no longer target you.
  2. Enter the code type 9349 into the panel at the gate; if it does not open, someone else entered it moments before you, so try again.
  3. Reach the rooftop boost yourself onto one of the buildings to your right immediately after entering.
  4. Draw the soldiers keep boosting into the air from the rooftop to get the soldiers' attention and herd them against the wall.
  5. Break for the fence move to the next building further right, then run hard to the fence and boost over it.
  6. Take the weapon sprint to the tent in the far right corner, kill any soldiers inside, then hold E to pick up the Nuke Launcher and use the exit button near the watchtower to get out.

Secrets and hidden badges

Check
In short A large portion of the game's nineteen badges reward exploration and curiosity rather than combat skill.

Many badges are tied to finding characters or locations hidden around the map, talking to specific NPCs, or completing unusual actions. Most carry no reward beyond the badge itself, but three badges in total unlock exclusive melee weapons.

  • Find Maxwell in the park and Bob inside one of the buildings both award their own badges on discovery.
  • Locate the teleporter to the colosseum for Secret 1, find the entrance to the Journey for Secret 2, then walk the Journey's path for around six minutes straight to complete it and earn Secret 3.
  • Talk to Ojobus at the Journey entrance and keep the conversation going until they fall back to sleep to earn Eye of Wisdom.
  • Find the Groove Zone and enter it to unlock The Groove Zone badge.
  • Find the Prism inside one of the buildings to earn The Prism badge.
  • Join a server containing developer Mezz, Nakana, Zakku, or MorseStone to receive the Meet a Developer badge.

Common questions

FAQ

Can I still play this game?

Yes, the game is still accessible. The developer has stated that development is discontinued, so large updates are not expected going forward, but everything currently in the game remains playable.

How do I earn the Secret 3 badge?

Find the entrance to the Journey, go through it, and then walk straight along the path for around six minutes without stopping.

What is the best weapon for taking on tough NPCs like Cosmonoid or Captain Crazybeard?

The Blunderbuss is your strongest option for high-HP enemies thanks to its massive damage and piercing shots. Against Cosmonoid, the Trout is also useful because it temporarily makes you invulnerable, and the RPG can help keep him at distance through repeated launches.

How do melee unlockables work?

Certain melee weapons, such as the Shovel and the Trout, are locked behind badges — you earn the badge through a specific action and the weapon becomes available to you. Some of these weapons have a substitute gamepass that unlocks them directly.
