Step

In short The moment you join, stop and look before you move — that habit will carry you through all 106 stages.

You earn the Welcome badge automatically the moment you join, so there is nothing to claim manually. Up to 20 players share the same room, which means you can watch others move and pick up clues about which paths are real and which are traps. The game's entire design is built around fooling players who act on instinct, so slowing down at the start of each stage costs you very little time and saves a lot of falls.

Join the game your Welcome badge appears instantly, confirming you are in.
Watch nearby players if someone ahead of you takes a path and falls, you know to avoid it.
Retry freely failing a stage sends you back to its beginning, so there is no penalty for experimenting.

THE HATCH is a badge separate from every numbered stage milestone. Its unlock condition is finding what the game calls the REAL EGG, meaning it will not appear just from clearing stages in order.

Confirm you are not looking for a stage exit THE HATCH has nothing to do with completing stages.
Only one of any eggs you encounter is the real one.
